Really love this watch! So happy with it!
I've had this watch for about 3 weeks. So far I've really enjoyed having it. It really does track everything! I bought it because I wanted to get into running more in addition to weight lifting. I was worried that it wouldn't be comfortable to sleep in, but it is. No issues with it.

Horrible at connecting to Iphone
This watch does not connect to my new iphone after I had tried multiple attempts. Both the watch and Iphone are up-to-date and have downloaded the latest software package. I take a photo of the QR code, and despite multiple attempts it fails to connect to the Iphone

This is a great device that keeps time too!
I was given A NEW Felix several weeks ago and so far it is outstanding. Sometimes, I sort of question the values provided in the Sleep Score. I am not sure what i trust the algorithm that is used. It is a minor point compared to the MANY features of this timepiece.

Love this watch
I absolutely am loving this watch and all the features it has. I have had it for almost a year now and my fitness levels have gone up and my fitness age has gone down. I’m in the best shape of my life and have goals still ahead of me. This watch helps me know when I need to step back and do a deep recovery when my stress levels are up and my body battery is down. Highly recommend this watch or any garmin watch to help you reach your fitness goals.

Loving it!
Had another smart watch for years & do not do well with having to learn new products… however, due to the short battery life on my old brand I decided to make the switch. Honestly, I think the forerunner would have sufficed for my needs (& lower cost preference) BUT decided to treat myself. It’s a bit larger than I’m used to but am enjoying it, just wish it had an easier band (like my old watch). It has a multitude of uses, so I’m slowly learning how to maneuver thru my activities, flashlight, etc… IF YOU’RE CONSIDERING A SWITCH OR AN UPGRADE, THIS IS DEFINITELY THE WATCH FOR YOU!

An Upgrade
I purchased this Fenix 8 last month, after the screen stopped working on my Fenix 6. Although, I was reluctant to say goodbye to my old watch, the updates on the Fenix 8 are definitely an upgrade. The touch screen is brighter and has additional colors, and the watch interface has some new features that the Fenix 6 did not. I loved my old watch and look forward to many recorded activities with this upgrade.

Very hard to find out how to use.
Instruction on use very poor. The Manual’s instructions are not accurate and videos are the same.

This is an awesome topnteir watch!
Funny, I have worn a watch my entire life! Since I got this I wear it daily. I'm still learning all the features, but i find it relatively user friendly, and no limits to its capabilities :)

Great features but falls short!
I was very excited to upgrade from my Garmin Fenix 6S to the Fenix 8. However, I was frustrated with the treadmill and running activity features as the heart rate was completely inaccurate. It was spiking within the first 5-10 minutes from the 130's-140's to over 180's and stayed there for the better part of my treadmill run, specifically, before dropping back down into the 130's-140's. Garmin did exchange watches for another new one and the heart rate was spiking the same way. I reached out to Garmin and they sent the HRM200. This has seemed to have solved much of the issue. It's frustrating that the watch is SO expensive and isn't accurate where it should be! Hopefully the update will help to balance the heart rate metric to reflect the correct heart rate.

A comfortable watch with a small wrist band
I originally purchased a Fenix 8 - 47 mm watch. I loved the features but was a bit too bulky. After a few months I broke down and got the 43 mm. This is much more comfortable, but I can barely get the wrist strap closed, and the velcro band barely fits over my hand. I would love Garmin to make a longer band for this watch. Again love the features and can now wear it continuously.

Fenix 8 with even more features
I like my new Fenix 8 - 43mm. Now it has a flash light and diving features! Not sure I like the golf activity changes vs Fenix 7 - but we will see. Set up was pretty seamless.

I've been a garmin forerunner user for about 15 years. I was debating between this fenix and the latest forerunner. While I'm sure the forerunner is great I couldn't be happier with the Fenis 8. It doesn't feel bulky, great battery life and the technology and features made it a seamless transition from the forerunner. I love the look and everything about the Fenis 8

Sharp! Great features & easy to nav!
This was an upgrade from my Fenix 6 Pro, and it is incredible!! MUCH easier to navigate, improved features and tough, but extremely stylish!! I beat the heck out of my 6Pro over the years (never took it off), and feel that this one will take it too!! Highly recommend!

Great watch
Great watch! Really like it! Cool features! But sometimes it reads my heart rate completely off during activities! Which is really annoying at times! But other than that great addition to my life!

Does everything that I wanted
My new fenix 8 replaced a fenix 5s that I have had since 2018. It took awhile to make the transition, but once I became used to the fenix 8 I am more than satisfied. It has a lot more features than the old watch and some I probably won’t use, but I am extremely glad that I made the purchase. It is a wonderful piece of technology.

Flashier than expected
First of all, get the smallest size. Medium and large ones are humongous, the 43 mm fits already like the largest watch I’ve ever worn. Its difficult to try on the display models, I know, but its a must! Second, when the device is turned off, the buttons are dead. They are “induction buttons” that only come alive when the watch is powered on. When you try pushing the buttons on a display model that ran out of its battery, the buttons will feel terrible. They feel really nice and also give haptic feedback when power is on, so keep that in mind. The light is by far the most amazingly useful and crowd pleasing feature somehow! Very fun to use. It came as a shocker when I found out that this watch also doubles as a legit dive computer because it shares the same sensor as the descent Mk3. I had no idea what a high end product I was purchasing!

Intuitive Feedback and Features
I loved my old Fenix 5s, but was excited to upgrade to the 8 for the added features of sleep analysis and answering calls from my watch. This was no small upgrade. The features in the 8 are far superior and I can't imagine using any other watch. The ability to use workouts right from the watch and have a running coach right on my wrist is a game changer when it comes to upgrading my fitness routine. The sleep analysis and spO2 monitoring are added features I was really looking forward to having and the total body battery is a great insight to how my health is overall. Forget Apple watches and Fitbits, this has both types of wrist-based tech beat by a longshot.
