Poorly made, difficult to assemble

I didn’t have especially high expectations for this planter, and unfortunately it still did not meet them. The outer box arrived undamaged, but several of the pieces inside were damaged or poorly assembled. One trellis slat was completely detached, and two others were only attached on one end. Three of the legs were unlabeled, and two pieces did not match the illustrations in the instructions, which made assembly more difficult. One side panel was missing some pre-drilled holes, and several other holes were drilled in incorrect locations. One of the end pieces had also come apart. The wood itself is very soft and lightweight, almost like balsa wood, with a painted-on wood grain and cedar scent. Thankfully, we had tools available and experience assembling items like this, so we were able to make it work, but someone without those skills or tools would likely have a very frustrating experience. I do not have high hopes for the longevity of this planter.

Ideal for small area

Looks like its photo, easy to assemble. The only big issue are the slats of the trellis were somewhat flimsy. We had to glue 3 to frame. Overall it fit what I was looking for.

Broken Pieces

Right out of the box there were multiple pieces broken. Half of the holes hardly lined up when putting it together. It felt like a few more slats were loose (on the top part) as well. Got about halfway through putting it together when I pulled the broken pieces out. Was fun to find out they were broken by grabbing onto the exposed nails...
