Annie Selke - Dash & Albert Karari Blue Hand Hooked Wool Rug, 5x8, Blue

LOVE this rug. Simply beautiful. However, the dust!!! We vacuumed it three times yet my furniture is still covered.Any suggestions?

The colors in the stock photos look much more grey than the rug actually is so I recommend ordering a swatch to make sure the colors work in your space. The colors are more beige/greige than what the stock photos show. I ordered the blue version in 9x12 size, it shipped very fast and arrived in good condition. There is a slight musty warehouse smell to it that is dissipating as the rug airs out.I really love the pattern and colors of this rug in my space. The fibers are soft and it seems like this rug will hold up well. Since it is a wool rug, it does require slightly different care especially when it comes to vacuuming. You shouldn't use a standard carpet vacuum with a beater bar or you will snag this type of rug. There has been minimal shedding using my canister vacuum without a beater bar.

We are very happy with this rug. We bought two for either side of the bed. It looks great and feels good, especially with a pad, in slippers or bare feet. The construction seems durable.

I have not had a problem with shedding which some earlier reviewers had mentioned. Nice soft rug to step on when you get out of bed in the morning,

I was so happy when this rug arrived in April 2020 as it went so well in our living room. A little over a year later and it looks like I've have had it for years. A lot of pulls and pilling in the rug. The first few pulls, I used a small crochet hook to loop them back in to avoid cutting them. There are just far too many to keep that up, they are all over the place We have 2 small dogs and we keep their nails trimmed so not sure why this inexpensive rug looks as bad as it does. So disappointed in the quality as was my first rug from Annie Selke.

When I first got this rug I was so excited! I loved the style. After owning for almost two years the colors have really faded and it looks so worn and has pills. We've had it in indirect sun in our family room. Now need a new rug- disappointed.

The cream sections of this rug are yellow/tan. I bought two and I am disappointed the color varied so much from the monitor and catalog. It also sheds too much.

I have had this rug now for 4 months and vacuum it daily because it sheds so badly. I have carpet fibers all over my house and my kids can not sit on it unless they want coated in fibers. It fills up my vacuum each time.

We purchased this rug for our living room which gets a lots of traffic. Initially it had a strong odor that bottered me but it went away with time. However shedding is my biggest problem. It did not stop shedding after 8 months of use. We have a Roomba vacuum we run over it weekly 1-2 times but the whole house is full of wool lint. Is there anything I could do to make the shedding stop? At this point I'm so frustrated I'm looking for an other rug to replace it which is too bed because I really liked how this rug looked.

It is HARD to find a rug that is truly transitional - not too modern, not too casual, and not too stuffy/old-fashioned looking (and I also hate the fake worn look). This one was just right for us. It also helped unify a number of different greys we have in our neutral space (grey walls, grey couch) and brighten up the room as well. The interesting pattern is almost an optical illusion - when I bought it online, I saw stars, in person I see cubes. Very MC Escher, almost, but subtly so. It's simply beautiful, and makes me happy whenever I see it. Unlike a couple reviewers, I did NOT notice an odor of any kind. It is worth pointing out that this is a looped/tufted rug so, although fairly tightly tufted, time will tell if it will survive my two cats' interest. I knew going into it that was a risk, so no one's fault but my own if they tear it up, but I liked this rug enough that it was worth it to me to take the chance.

Beautiful rug but has a strong odor. Will see if this subsides over the next few weeks. Otherwise happy with purchase

This is beautiful rug, 100% wool, very sturdy and well constructed. It is not super soft, but we have it in our bathroom in front of vanity and it is comfortable to stand on in bare feet. I love the colors. I would definitely consider this rug for a great room or dining room. Ours was small 3x5 - the larger would be so handsome under a dining room table. I'm very happy with the rug and would highly recommend.

Bought this gorgeous rug for my living room. I live at the beach and wanted something that was simple and classy but didn't want the natural/jute or sisal look like every other beach house. This works perfectly with my color scheme of blue, gray and natural. I bought it in 9x12. Price and quality were great. It has a nice thickness to it without being plush and cushy. Love it.
