Broan-NuTone Bathroom Exhaust Fan Grille/Cover FG600

This could not be easier. On a difficulty DIY scale of 1 to 5, it has to be a 1. Take down old cover, plug in new cover and put it back in place. Looks great. The only caveat is the light colour. It is 3000K which looks great in my bath, but if you have 5000K lights, it will not match. Any chance Broan will make one of these with a replaceable bulb? That way users could match their lighting scheme.

Installing this product was rather difficult and the result is less than satisfactory. The clips provided may work for some of the models that this product fits, but not mine (though it is a listed model). The clips lack sufficient tension to support the weight of the cover, which simply slips down after I push it into place. I've attached adhesive tape to the inside of the fan box in an attempt to provide more resistance, but the cover still does not fit tightly in place.

I think all of you that said this was such an easy installation is full of malarky, or you were paid. I can't get my hand in to install the 2nd spring and every video I've watched gets to that part and then all of a sudden they're pushing the light against the ceiling saying how "easy" it was. Puleeez!

Upgraded grill and light as I replaced mortar for fan. Looks great - light is much brighter.

Easy install, short life. LED upgrade I expected to last for a significant time. Life was about 2 years before the light burned out, now I am left replacing the whole deal as it is a solid sealed unit. Will not purchase again.

The fan was easy to install and looks much better than the cover I had in there, but I'm here to join the many others in requesting a different color temperature for the LED. It looks pretty bad with the colors I have chosen for my newly renovated bathroom and clashes with the other light I have in there.

I purchased this in April 2021. From then until early May 2023 the light worked perfectly. It replaced the original incandescent housing and yellowed light cover so it was a very nice upgrade. I liked it so much that I bought another for another fan light - the plan was to replace it when the bulb burned out. However, the I had to use this new one to replace the April 2021 purchase. I'm very disappointed that it only lasted 2 years with intermittent use. Unfortunately, no one has a product that can be used in lieu of this. Rather frustrating to be totally frank.

... however if you have 5000K bulbs (white light) this light looks terrible... please offer a 5000K option...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bathroom exhaust replacement/upgrade grille is very nicely made. There is no need for extra cutting or wiring to be done. Simply plug the grille into the fan receptacle and the motor into the grille's pass-thru plug. It can be done in a matter of minutes.

My cousin is a builder so I asked him to come switch my old vent light with this new one. It took a minute to get the old cover off, but once that was done, he said the install was a breeze. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been considering adding a light over my shower for some time. But when I saw this it changed everything. You don't need to change out the whole fan at a much higher price or spend time and money adding a separate light. This is so simple. You remove the old cover and unplug the fan. Plug in the light adapter then the and into that. Replace new light cover and you're done! Brightens up that dull spot nicely. Great product!

I think opening the package took almost as long as removing the old fan cover and putting this on. Now we've got a nice, bright (seriously, it's as bright as our regular bathroom light) LED light built into the fan, so it's a one switch solution. Perfect for middle of the night bathroom trips when your brain's tired, plus it looks much nicer!

This kit includes the replacement grille with LED light and 2 sets of grille springs. The fan was easy to install and required just a few minutes of my time. The installation did not require the use of any tools. The fan is super quiet while in operation. It will stay cleaner longer because there are fewer vent slots to prevent an accumulation of dust. This Broan Ventilation Fan is compatible with many other brands and models.

There was a fair amount of dust after removing it though so be prepared to have a vacuum handy. The new one plugged in without an issue and fit like a glove when I put it in place.

He had no trouble putting on at all once was told on we did not care much about how it looked at all. I saw no difference from the in that was in to this at all. Of course the one we had was older but they worked the same. My husband ended up putting our old one back on.
