This product contains a large number of chemicals that are unsafe for external use, especially on the lips. Despite being described as a gel, it is actually a thick, cream-like ointment with a very strong chemical odor. The smell is overwhelming and raises concerns about the ingredients used. I believe this product should be reviewed for safety and removed from sale through Target until its formulation can be properly evaluated.

Do not buy. Its fake!!

This is counterfeit. Do not buy. Compared to original and this has Chinese writing and different packaging. I'd return if it weren't a hassle.

Severe reaction

My daughter and her friends love this, so I tried it. It gave me the worst reaction ever! Like chemical burns on and around my lips. (No I didn’t put it around my lips but the rash was there) So painful! Sad because so many people like it, but if you are sensitive be careful.

change in product?

i have been using this lip mask for years & i have never had an issue. my first time ordering outside of sephora & it’s off. not sure if it’s not authentic or if they changed products recently, but i’m not a fan. been using consistently & my lips are not as soft as they normally are.
