I have severe sensitivity to chemicals along with strong seasonal allergies, so clean air isn’t a luxury for me—it’s a necessity. This system has truly been life-changing. During the past two devastating wildfire seasons here in California, the AirDoctor proved its worth beyond anything I expected. Even though my apartment is well-sealed and looks spotless, the unit detected and captured an incredible amount of ash and pollutants. I did write a review already and looks like it didn't go through for some reason so here goes again. I will write again how pleased I am with this AirDoctor5000. We have been using Air Doctor air filter machines for years. They have been extremely reliable. Easy to maintain and filter change is a breeze. Filter change notification works well (proper timing) and ensures we always have clean filters in place.

Since starting to use this I. My home, my allergies have dramatically decreased. I have 3 dogs in my house & couldn’t believe the difference Air Doctor made in allergy symptoms. I recommend it to everyone

I bought the larger 5500 air filter unit after I visited a friends house and she had it. I’m so happy I did. love this filter unit. It is quiet and completely filters the air well for our living and dining open areas. We placed it in between the 2 rooms and don’t even know its there. It is a larger unit so keep that in mind. I haven’t used the replacement filter yet. So this review is for the actual air filter unit itself.

Air Doctor was my savior in a recent refinery fire / explosion on Saturday, February 1, 2025. It immediately went to a level 3, causing us to shelter in place and "seal all windows and doors". Scary. Yes. However, I felt safe with my Air Doctor. Further, I had just bought myself a birthday gift . . . New filters for it. I know that this is a quality air purifier and the filters are professional lab grade quality. Would love to see more of these in hospitals, schools, home healthcare facilities and of course anywhere a home is near a refinery, chemical plant or other dirty industrial industry. Accidents (and gross negligence) happen. Be prepared. Be safe. Protect yourself, your family and your pets. You deserve good health, despite where you live.

We have had an Air Doctor 5000 for nearly a year and we love it! We can tell a difference in our indoor air quality by how quickly any odors disappear and by the less frequent allergy issues. The AD 5000 is a gem and we won’t be without one!!

I wish the prices of the filters were more affordable. I can’t change them as often as recommended. I have 3 machines at my house and filters run over 800 a year.

I appreciate having a year's worth of protection. These are easy to change and my wife and I appreciate the fresh air.
