Q: can this be used inside my bathtub

  • A: The infant sling when attacked just sits on the bottom of the tub. It’s not a “sling” at all and will not support an infant in any way. The “arms” that attach to the side of the tube are way too long. Is the one I got just defected? I installed it exactly as directions and pictures show

Spend slightly more $ for a tub that will actually last

Thermometer broke within 3 months, and the tub was way too small for my long 2-month-old that couldn’t sit up in the bath. We really tried to make it work right up until the thermometer started permanently showing 73.8 degrees

I agree with all of the other reviews. The sling is too long and baby sits awkwardly and slides down. She sits practically at the bottom of the tub. I got 2 gifted for my baby shower but wish I could return both.

Seat Lacks Support

The seat does not provide enough support for infants, it’s too flimsy and my baby has almost slid/slipped deeper into the water unless I hold her up, which makes bath time a two person job. The seat that this comes with is too long or not appropriately measured and it causes an awkward slant position so I have to hold her head up to avoid water getting in her ears. I would actually consider this product dangerous for babies, given the support structure is truly lacking. Do not buy!

Instructions are useless!

The first time I used this, I could not figure out how to adjust the sling. Only after reading the reviews did I figure out you need to roll the straps and then clip them to the sides of the tub. I analyzed the instructions over and over and they never mentioned this. I don’t use the thermometer, I just test the water before I put the baby in. As far as a baby tub goes, it serves its purpose. I’m very annoyed the instructions don’t actually instruct how to use the bath and only mention how to put it together.

Works fine for newborn. Pro tip: to tighten the net you roll up the straps on the clamps. Took me a few minutes to figure that out. Instructions do not mention this.

I received this as a gift from my baby shower. I don’t get all the fuss from the other reviews. I love that it’s collapsible and can fit in my small bathroom without taking up much space. I feel like it is sturdy when put together properly. The infant insert works nicely, I haven’t had an issue with molding. The only negative I have to say is the thermometer doesn’t shut off.

Good for Small Spaces

I’m not sure what the fuss is about with people not liking the straps because all you have to do is roll them and it will work. I think it holds my 4 month old very well and used it since he was a couple weeks old. The only thing is I wish there was a way to have him lean back/sit up in it cause he is getting a little tall for it.

I have been using this collapsible bathtub for 2 months now. I love that it has a thermometer where I can see how the temperature drops throughout bath time. I will say that at first I was a bit confused on the netting straps and how they adjust. Once I figured out you have to roll them then it facilitated adjustments to the height of the net and I was able to make them sit safely for my baby. Another plus is the removable net which can be washed in the washer and hung to dry.

Unsafe for younger infants

I was so hopeful for this tub, especially since it folds up. It is SUPER unsafe for newborns and any infant who cannot at least lift their head. The sling is set up in a way where the infant ends up lying down in an unsafe way, even with the smallest amount of water. I want my money back!

DANGEROUS

This tub is not suitable for newborns! It's actually very dangerous. The sling that was included sits at the bottom of the tub because the arms are way to long. So basically if your infant isn't yet sitting, this tub will not work for you!
