Description
Philips Avent Anti-colic with AirFree vent bottles are designed to reduce feeding issues: such as colic, gas, and reflux. The unique AirFree vent is designed to draw air away from the nipple keeping it full of milk to avoid air ingestion. This vent also keeps the nipple full of milk even when the bottle is held horizontal, allowing for upright feeding. Feeding in an upright position can help to reduce reflux and aid in digestion. The nipple shape is designed for a secure latch for a comfortable feed. The bottle is easy to clean and assemble with few parts. The AirFree vent is only one piece and is easy to clean without any special tools. The Anti-colic bottle features a valve, integrated into the nipple, that reduces vacuum buildup and reducing air into your baby’s tummy. The Anti-colic bottle can be used with or without the AirFree vent, giving you the option based on your baby’s feeding needs. The soft silicone nipple is available in different flow rates for babies of all ages, flows 1-4. We recommend using the Philips Avent Anti-colic baby bottle with Philips Avent Anti-colic bottle nipples. Includes 3 4oz Anti-colic bottles with AirFree vent with Flow 1 nipples. SCY701/93

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves these bottles. The wide base helps him latch correctly and he drinks his formula no problem!

Generally they aren’t horrible but we have an issue of the bottles leaking where the cap and nipple of the bottle connect.

The vent keeps popping up and that causes the bottle to leak. Also one the vents broke after sterilizing the bottles.
The only bottle my newborn will take

We like these bottles a lot. My daughter wouldn't take any of the others we tried. These have less parts & are easy to clean compared to others we have tried. They do leak a little if you don't get the top on just right.

I wanted to love these, I really did. I initially received this in a sample from the Target maternity gift and bought more when my son stopped BF. At first they were great! He took to them well and no complaints. A couple of weeks later, my husband and I noticed the nipple leaking. Soon enough all the bottles started to leak and I had enough. I switched over to Dr. Browns and I haven’t had any issues!

We switched from using Dr Brown’s to Phillips Avent. These do not leak, & have less parts to wash. Mom is happy & Baby is happy!

I used these for my 2nd child and had no problems. I just started using them again for my 3rd child and these are terrible. I’m not sure if they changed something or if it’s user error. They leak like crazy and get her clothes full of milk. My newborn gets so upset because she can’t get enough milk out since the level 1 flow is so slow. The green piece also keeps popping out which is annoying. Unfortunately, I had to recycle these and get a new brand of bottles that works so much better for us. Think twice before getting these.

Nothing but trouble. Nipple 1 is slow so my baby gets frustrated and won’t eat so formula goes bad, and still gets gassy, nipple 2 is fast so she chokes and still gets gassy…. Huge bubbles still get into the nipple…. Nothing but waisted formula , spit up and gas. So frustrating as a first time mom

I haven’t even had these bottles 2 weeks (bought 3 packs) and the green anti colic device pops up out of the bottle now. The bottle has also leaked all over my baby multiple times (yes the nipple was flush against the cap) & I pump which makes it extra frustrating. I wash them according to the manual & even use the Philips branded bottle cleaner. I purchased these more expensive bottles because I didn’t want low quality and that’s what I got…

Newborns require a LOT of feedings and having these bottles has been so helpful. My little guy drinks well from these and I love that they cut down on gas bubbles. I would recommend.

My newborn has silent reflux and colic. This was like 6 bottle we tried and they literally worked immediately. It’s like both of them are just gone. Still there. But I have a sleeping baby again. The only thing I don’t like is they keep leaking which idk how because the lid is on correctly. But I rather take leaky lids then my newborn being in pain!

These bottles are great and provide a good flow for my newborn. I tried others but came back and bought more of the Philips. The nipple size is perfect and it does reduce the air flow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bottles have made baby life so much easier. They really did reduce gas and we hardly ever dealt with spit up! My only complaint is sometimes closing it can be tricky which led to leaks. More of a user error though!
