The netting on the sides came in damaged. Twice.

Do NOT buy this!!! Damaged product! And no communication for warranty. Upon unboxing, I see there is a hole in the netting. It looks like a burn hole. I emailed the address indicated and have never received a response. There is no phone number on the instruction booklet.

Bassinet did not come with base underneath the mattress. We only noticed this was missing upon coming home with our newborn. This was frustrating especially since we couldn’t get this item replaced quickly by Target. We ended up buying a new bassinet and returned this one.

I like the design of the bassinet, I especially like that it holds up to 33lbs vs others that only hold 20lb babies.. like the material, I like that the side can come down, making it easy to play with the baby next to the couch. that being said, I do not like the "mattress" it's more like a sponge and its wrapped in such a noisy cover, letting a baby down is not quiet at all. also the bars that are directly under the bassinet do not seem too sturdy. makes bassinet shift side to side when pushed on. so that alone worries me that if the baby was to roll to the side he could become trapped making it dangerous if unsupervised. it also comes apart to take along on travels... you just need to remove the 2 bottom bars and the one that holds the bassinet.. after I assembled and clicked bars in place I tried to take them out and didn't seem to budge, maybe my hubby will be strong enough to release the bars when we take it on our travels. everything considered i guess you get what you pay for, it's affordable so don't expect great quality.
