This portable air conditioner is totally awesome. I live in northern California where we rarely have very hot weather so few houses have central air here. But, on days when it gets in the 90's we really suffer! My bedroom was 95 degrees the other night! This AC is perfect to keep me cool when working in my study. Then I wheel it to the bedroom to help us sleep.

The unit came with excellent instructions. I am a mechanical idiot but even I could figure out how to cut and fit the vent panel out a window. The unit ran beautifully and almost continuously for weeks. It kept the bedroom cool and, on cloudy days when there was less sun shining on the roof, removed much of the humidity from the entire second floor.

Got this for our 40’s home it’s in a 200 sq ft space it does the job and isn’t obnoxiously loud. It’s super cute and pretty decent to install.

I live in a studio and during the summer it gets scorching hot - really old building with no ac units. I can’t express how EASY it was to install. This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my husband, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lol I don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment.

I live in an one bedroom apartment in California (the land that forgets AC exists) in the one unit that has sun pouring into it for maybe 7 hours of the day. I bought this unit for the living room. It doesn't cool down the living room of our apartment as well as I was expecting, but it still works better than our old window unit. It makes the living room much more comfortable. Sometimes it gets to be 110 in the apartment and this keeps it at around 75-80 which is much more livable. I am so glad I got it.

This AC is perfect for our needs. We live in an antique cape, so putting ugly mini-split ducts on the outside of our house was out of the question. It would also be impossible to retrofit for central air. My husband’s back problems are worsening, so lifting a window AC has become difficult. Considering all of the above, a portable unit seemed like the only solution. This AC cools more square footage for us than expected. Another plus for a portable AC is the ability to just roll it away for storage off-season. Easy to install, and we did wait to let it settle for 24 hours. I did get vibration at first, but that was easily rectified by leveling the unit. Overall, very pleased.

I bought this since I've been working from home and my office/guest bedroom is on the second floor southwest corner. It gets quite warm in there, especially with electronics running all day. The central AC doesn't cool it enough since we are not dual-zoned and the main level is consistently 10 degrees cooler than this corner of the upstairs. It does a great job of cooling down this room and keeping me comfortable. It is decently loud, but when I'm on a conference call on my headset, people don't even notice the noise. I hate the ventilation tube running to the window, but it's a small aesthetic sacrifice for the comfort this will provide for 4-5 months out of the year!

My husband and I are super hot natured and we wanted to save on our electric bill every month as well as keep it comfortable for our daughter. So we ordered this and it has been a life savor. We keep our bedroom around 68, and the rest of the house around 71. We haven’t had any issues and have enjoyed every moment of our cooler bedroom. It took my husband around 30 mins- an hour to get it fully set up and installed. He said it was very easy and not hard at all. I have referred so many people to this particular item! My mom and my brother have both ordered since I have ordered mine. We love them!

So far so good!! I live in an apartment with wall unit AC in the living room, so needed something for my bedroom. It says you need to let it sit for at least 6 hours before using but recommends 24 hours - I let it sit for probably 16 hours.I do not find it too noisy, and it’s definitely quieter than the wall unit I have! It cools off the room quick and easy! Well worth the investment.

First, getting it a day early was a Godsend. Then, while leaning over its top to connect the tube, I accidentally turned it on and unbelievably, its output was instantly cold. It's vented into a downstairs room for now and within 30 minutes completely transformed my upstairs bedroom from over 90 degrees to below 80 and it's still dropping. This is especially amazing since I'm in a loft! It's infinitely quieter than one I had a few years ago, and feels like a seriously sturdy piece of equipment with no flimsy aspects.

I have a small house. Larger than the recommended cooling area, but I only wanted to tackle the heat and humidity. This does the trick. This could not have been easier to install. There is nothing flimsy about this, and everything connects snugly. If you find it doesn't, then go to the instructions. Do it correctly to start with and there will be no hassle, and the summer heat will be a thing of the past. This was a good investment, and now I can worry about other things besides melting in the heat.

Bought for bedroom = 450 sq ft. Easy setup. Easy controls. Cools quickly (64 degrees seems to be the lowest I can set it). Haven't had any 90+ degree days, so won't know the true efficiency. Prior a/c was a LG (and was great--lasted 3-4yrs).

I have a 2-story 1900 sq. ft. home with an upstairs open loft, so this is where the unit is placed. It does take a really strong person or two people to get it up the stairs, but it has been worth it (since heat rises - it cools the upstairs and the cooler air will travel downstairs as the upstairs cools off). Multiple options for fan speed, temperature settings, and oscillation.

Great product! My bedroom is about 140sq feet and relatively well insulated (I have a door duster to seal the gap under the door), and I only have to set the unit to around 72° on auto and it will cool the room to 68-69°, even during the day! I’m even wearing a hoodie inside right now, even though it’s 85 outside! I don’t know why reviews said this is loud. If you’ve ever used a window unit, it’s probably about half the volume of one of those, and way less hassle. Yes, of course it’s louder than a regular fan because it uses a motor to cool your room but I can even make calls with this in the background, no problem. It’s a little bigger than I expected, and takes up about the space of an accent chair including all the tubing and stuff, but not too bad for all the cooling power it provides.

This is the second summer using this A/C unit. We absolutely loved it last summer and wished we had purchased sooner. It cooled a much larger area of the house than was stated in the description. I only wish it was quieter but there is really no getting around that with any portable or window A/C. Prior to purchasing this we had been using an evaporative cooler for quite a few years in the master bedroom and quite honestly I was perfectly happy with it. It held a large amount of water and had a compartment for ice as well. It cooled the room at least 10-12 degrees.

It comfortably cooled the living room and kitchen area which is about 20 x20 (400 sq feet) during testing, not too noisy but then again it’s an AC unit so what do you expect .? There are so many reviews about the noise level but then again what do you expect it’s an AC unit? I thought that this product was awesome and very powerful for the price point that it’s being offered. It is very easy to roll around especially if you have tile or carpet, and my favorite thing is that I can manually adjust the vents to blow air in the direction that I want them to. The air vents also do Oscillate by moving air from left to right if you set it to do so on the remote control.

This excellent little machine works fantastically. It cools down damn near the whole house! At over 1,000+ square feet! No kidding.

I got this because my master bedroom is the hottest room of the house. Realizing the issue is with the style of our ceilings, I finally got this unit, and WOW I wish I had done this earlier. The difference is significant. This has the ability to basically cool the second floor, so with the doors to the bedroom closed, you can feel the temperature drop within seconds. It was easy to install and use right out of the box.

I was worried about the bad reviews saying that it doesn't work properly. And to be honest it does feel a bit cheap. But after a couple nights I can say it works great! I set it to 72 last night, and when I woke up this morning the thermostat read 72.

I bought 2 of these. I live in an upper apartment where the sun is constantly hitting it. I put it in the living room. It seems to be doing a good job. It is only May but we've had a few 80 degree days.
