Peace of mind for new diagnosis

I was newly diagnosed with gestational diabetes, and navigating meters and tracking and accuracy was very overwhelming. After doing research and landing on Contour Next meters, I feel confident I’m getting accurate results to best manage my new condition.

Can be used even if not diabetic

Inaccurate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not accurate. I got fasting readings of 107, 104, 109, etc. I think, “holy —! I’m pre diabetic! Then I get my labs done at the doctor and my fasting glucose is 85. Way to scare the bejeezus out of me.

Easy to use (once you get used to how to stick yourself) Works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a prediabetic who's trying to get a better look at what spikes my sugars and if they're riding high in the morning, this glucose monitor was easy to understand right away, easy to use, and the log that hooks directly to your phone is super helpful. Would recommend, just an easy way to start testing your sugar.

How close can a meter get?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've compared Three Different Contour Next Meter's with their readings with the Lab Work that my Doctor did and I also used Three Different Batch Numbers of Contour Next Test Strips with the Contour Next Control Solution. The reading that my Doctor gave me had only 5 points difference between the 3 Meter Readings, I would call that as close as any meter made by any company could possibly get.

My NEXT GEN Blood Glucose Monitoring Value Pack

My old unit was getting old, so I ordered this value pack which contained everything I needed to do my Blood Glucose monitoring. I got a meter the had everything entered in the unit to get me going. Some Silicon Lancets that fit into the Lancit unit to get a drop of blood and Test strips. Everything works as expected.
