I have ordered four of these stools. The last one I got was made wrong. I called Target and they corrected the problem right away. I had a new stool within two days. Customer Service was very good. Just to let those who are interested in this stool - it is a bit off white and not white as advertised. I was aware of this after reading other reviews, but decided to order one to see for myself. My island is white with black granite, so you can see why I would think these would be perfect. After receiving the stool, my husband and I decided that the color was okay with the island. We feel it looks fine and ordered three more. So for those on the fence, do what I did - order one to check it out for yourself. I felt it would be much easier to return one than four if I didn't like them. Also, they were packed very well, no parts missing and easy to put together. They are sturdy and comfortable. I'm happy with this purchase.

Very nice, sturdy chairs for our counter-height island. We wanted something with white and black but when they arrived they were more of an "off-white, yellowish" or ecru color. Before assembling, we spray-painted each part with chalk-spray paint to make them bright white to match our cabinets.

I received my 3 “white” bar stools today except they are not white at all! They are yellow cream, very disappointed they do not look like the colour in thread at all. It says in description painted white with distressing. Not white, edges are distressed.

Best stools
We are looking everywhere for solid kitchen stools and after evaluating and reading the reviews on these ones both on Target and other sites, we decided to go with these ones from Target as they offer the best price. After buidling the first stool, we knew we made the right decision. The stools are solid wood, heavy and very sturdy. We ordered all 6 of these and all of them came in perfect. The first stool took forever to build but once we got the hang of it, the rest of them go fast and easy to put together. We got a lot of compliments on these stools. They look a lot more expensive then their actual cost. Very happy with our purchase!

I searched around for the perfect counter stools and found them!! These stools are great. They were priced right, look beautiful, and are very sturdy. It took my husband about 30 minutes to put two together with no complaining. The only surprise I had was that they are actually a little bit "antiqued", and I may have missed that in the description, but I love that look for the kitchen. I am very pleased with the size, (the seat is nice and big) and they fit perfectly up to the breakfast counter. Make sure not to order the BAR stools if you are looking for COUNTER stools...I almost messed that up!!

I RECENTLY PURCHASED TWO OF THESE TO GO WITH THE NANTUCKET ISLAND THAT I HAD PURCHASED ABOUT A FEW WEEKS EARLIER. TO MY SURPRISE ALL THE ITEMS ARRIVED IN GREAT CONDITION, NO PROBLEMS, EASY TO ASSEMBLE, VERY GOOD QUAILITY, GREAT PRICES. THIS WAS VERY SURPRISING TO ME , WE HAVE HIGH END FURNITURE IN OUR HOME. I WAS VERY HAPPY TO GET THESE 3 ITEMS FOR LESS THAN THE PRICE OF 1 DINNING ROOM CHAIR. VERY HAPPY TARGET IS A GREAT STORE.
