A: For longer life out of your Water Flosser, don't allow the reservoir to run completely dry when using. When the water pressure begins to decrease as the water level drops (you'll hear a change in sound), turn the unit off. It'll keep the pump from running dry.

A: Yes it is very easy to remove. Pulls right off for easy filling, emptying, and cleaning.

A: sure can! I use a mix of 50/50 mouthwash and peroxide and fill the contained with a little water. works perfectly.
