Peg Perego John Deere Farm Tractor with Trailer

This is non-functional. Like others said, it’s decoration/only for sitting. Cannot be propelled forward by the pedals. Devastating for my kid. Tears and tears. It DOES NOT WORK. The chain is attached properly. When you pedal, only one wheel spins. There’s no traction and the tires just slip. We have tried both seat positions (all the way forward and all the way back) and it makes no difference. Side note: if you’re hoping to use this with multiple kids tall and short, in order to change the seat position you need to unscrew 3 spots, 2 of which are buried behind the chain so it’s a chore to move the seat and impractical to do so. Another poor design for something intended for kids is that the way to attach the trailer to the tractor is with an independent loose little piece that doesn’t stay locked in place or attached to either piece, so we promptly lost it as normal with kids and needed to make up our own way to attach the trailer. Just completely poor design without kids in mind overall. They clearly did zero testing to make sure it actually functioned.

We put it together and brought it outside for my son to ride and within 20 minutes we put it in the car to return. The back wheels get no traction and the chain constantly falls off. Take it from someone who took a chance and bought it after reading the bad reviews and don’t buy this. It’s a complete waste of money.

cute but only a looker. put it together with no problems. pretty easy to do even coming from someone who's not the most savy in that department. it has the worst traction out of any John Deere kids toys we've bought. it might make it a full rotation maybe two but gets caught up way too easily. SAVE YOUR MONEY. do not buy as this is the worst little ride on we've ever had.

This is super cute and my 2 year old son loves it. However, the chain constantly falls off and it's only made to turn one of the back wheels. After reading the reviews, it would seem the chain issue has been a problem/design flaw for years. It seems they would've fixed this issue. I have called and am being sent something to fix it. Hopefully it works, but the reviews make it seem doubtful. We will probably end up shortening the chain. I don't want to return it as my son loves it and it is the cutest one I've seen. I have checked would not recommend secondary to the chain issue. If they fix that I would definitely recommend.

The item arrive with a broken front grate. I was disappointed. It was a gift for my grandson who lives far away. My daughter is too busy to now take this a part and return it. So he will be riding a broken tractor. Not what I wanted.

I bought this for my son for Christmas after putting it together and testing it with my hands the chain fell off...fixed it gave it to my son for Christmas after 30 minutes of play the chain is off again. What a waste of time and money. It looks good and is heavy but the chain will not stay on no matter what.

My son has owned his since his first birthday he is now almost 5 and still plays with it every second he gets. Has always been kept inside so still looks like it came out of the box. Best toy you will ever spend this kind of money on.

Chain wI'll not stay on and after reading reviews this has been an issue since 2005. You would think this defect would be fixed in 10 years or taken off the market.

Unfortunately this arrived with pieces missing called to get replacements and Pp is not open weekends or evenings. They responded toy email and stated any return would need to be to target not pp. But the chain drive is s queued and falls off the sprockets after a few turns of the pedals. A 2-4 yr ol d isn't going to have fun. Just get frustrated! !! I'll be heading to target for a full refund!

My grandson has thoroughly loved his tractor. He got it for his two yr. birthday and is now 4-1/2 yrs. old and still rides it around the yard. It has held up well.

Took just shy of 2 hours to put this toy together. Decals and all. Went to push tractor into a room to hide until birthday and chain kept coming off. So glad I didn't wait until last minute. Returned to Target next day. Went on other websites only to find same reviews. Also only one wheel in back drives with chain.

Easy to install. Boys ages from 1-6 love it.

Cute tractor but my 3 year old has not been able to enjoy his birthday gift from his grandparents since there is no traction on the tires when he pedals it. When he tries to pedal it he gets the pedals going around but never moves since the tires don't grip and he's just left frustrated. Also the small cheap removable clip to take the trailer on and off is very cheap and does not work very well and the trailer just falls off when he pushes the tractor. Cute idea but not worth the $129.

my little grandson loves it but it would be too snall for a child over 4 It is smaller than I had thought but it fits my litle boy just fine for another year or so.

Our son can't get enough of this toy. He rides it everywhere, hitches all sorts of things to the back, and has turned into a regular little farmer with it. In 2 years we have had to replace nothing on it, the tires have held up against relentless wear. It's adjustable seat helped make room from one summer to the next, and I love that it has pedals & no battery...good exercise!
