    Selling expired products

Expired. Again. Stop selling products past their expiration date- I’m finding it regularly at Target lately. The actual product is good. Caring about customer health and safety is lacking at Target. Their bloated reviews on products are not reflective of what’s actually happening. I shouldn’t have to dig to get real reviews. Do better. Ridiculous.

    Great for Kids

Look. I get it. Some of us have experience making dough from scratch and this is NOT THAT EXPERIENCE. Im not sure how people had that expectation from a company who normally cans biscuits and rolls. If you lower the bar and see it for what it, it can be pretty dang tasty. Yeah.. the square aspect is annoying but it was easy to cut. Don't deviate from an 8" circle. roll the edges a little. Oil and season the crust before preparing. Then do a final bake with ingredients. It came out with golden brown crust and yummy baked toppings. I had a blast making this pizza with my 4yr old and no one can tell me otherwise that this is what it's for.

    The best

I've been using this dough for homemade pizza for at least half my life, if not longer. It's the perfect pizza dough, it's so tasty. I made a pizza tonight and I used this dough and even though it was just plain pepperoni with not enough mozzarella (because I ran out), it was so enjoyable to eat and so easy to make. It's so rare for a product I've been using since adolescence to not change and still be perfect. I hope this never changes.

    Sweet and artifical

Weirdly sweet and whatever natural flavors they put in make it taste buttery. But there is no butter in the listing.

    Very disappointed.

Buying this pizza crust ruined our family night of making home made pizza. Coming from someone who has made home made pizza and worked at a pizza place with years of experience making pizza I regret buying this. Not at all a pizza crust. It’s a dough that you can’t manipulate whatsoever and has turned into a ball while I am trying to shape it like it says you are able to do. Don’t buy it unless you feel like driving back to the store to buy fresh dough and throwing this in the trash which is where it belongs. Wish I had just waited for them to have fresh dough instead of waiting.

    Excellent with a few tweaks!

I used to work in a restaurant and this crust beats any of the frozen crusts by a mile. A few tips: Make sure your oven is fully preheated to 425. Grease your pan, spread out your crust. Poke holes all over it with a fork so it proofs evenly. Lightly spray or brush on olive oil. Bake for 6 minutes. Use a light hand with the sauce. I like Prego traditional. Sprinkle on 1 1/2 cups of cheese, add your other toppings, then finish with the other 1/2 cup of cheese. Bake for 8 minutes, then broil for 3. Everyone here agrees that this easily compares to just about any takeout pizza. Give it a try!

    Good

Very easy to work with, don’t bother making a round pizza. Just unfold it and keep it rectangular. Taste good and the price is right

DO NOT INVEST IN PILLSBURY DOUGH

First, the dough was rough and hard to work with. It took about an hour to create the perfect pizza shape. Next, the instructions were unclear. PLEASE put a detailed step-by-step instruction next time. Lastly, the pizza came out RAW. The outside looked nice and delicious but when we cut inside, it was raw. The temperature of the oven was the same temperature as the instructions and it still didn't cook through.

I love this pizza dough and have been using it for

I love this pizza dough and have been using it for decades, but ONLY for specific toppings which complements the specific flavor of this dough. I sauté peppers, onions and mushrooms and always put some cheese first after on the dough after stretching it out a bit and cutting the dough in 6 pieces. I sprinkle some grated parmesan and then place the sauteed and cooled veggies, not too loaded and then top with some fontina or other melting cheese, but not too heavy again with the cheese either. My other variation is same steps up to the toppings, I add some small pieces of roasted cauliflower and a bit of crumbled either feta or blue cheese and then bake. When done if you like the heat, drizzle some buffalo sauce lightly on top. This is it for the way I use it and also I use it when making Stromboli, like a braided, filled thing with grounded cooked meat and some broccoli steamed and cheese., Very good. Hope some of you might try it who are not so keen on it now, I make my own pizza dough for other types, or buy good fresh pizza dough also, but this specific one I always use for these 2 combinations. I love it and hope they never discontinue it.

Hi! GMOs are used very commonly in the food industry, and if a food or a beverage product lists corn, soy, canola or sugar as an ingredient - and the product is not organic - it likely contains GMOs. GMOs are safe – we would not use them if we thought otherwise. Safe food is, and always has been our number one priority. Global food and safety regulatory bodies including the FDA (Food & Drug Administration) and the WHO (World Health Organization) have also verified their safety. Thanks!
