First of all the shade is as pictured (thank goodness) beige and not "silver and shimmery" as official description implies. I liked the look of the lamp. HOWEVER, I was looking specifically for a lamp for 3 way light bulb up to 150 watts to control brightness. This lamp is very misleading in that it takes a 3 way 150 watt light bulb BUT has no switch. You turn it on and off with the foot switch. It only shines dimly - the lowest wattage so the 3 way function is pointless when the foot switch only turns on and off. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! Going to be a huge hassle to return during the COVID shutdown and I need a lamp now to work from home. Don't buy this unless you need a 75 watt brightness...

I am returning this item. The two pieces did NOT fit together well, thus causing the light to look bent and slightly twisted.
Stylishly provides electricity to bulb. A+ lamp.

Fairly easy to assemble with clear directions. Definitely quite modern, with a square shaped shade. It also came with a surprise foot switch.

Absolutely love this lamp. I was a little worried about what the shade would look like given the description had indicated a silver shimmer (I did not really want anything shimmery). However the shade is great (no shimmer or glittery type look) - just a nice, neutral shade. I am so glad I ordered two of these. Would definitely recommend.
