Vicks VapoSteam blends soothing camphor, and menthol to help you relax and recharge—whether you're under the weather or just unwinding. A: Eucalyptus oil is highly toxic to dogs and cats and should never be used on them. Toxicity: Eucalyptus oil contains a compound called eucalyptol, which can cause severe respiratory irritation, seizures, and even death in dogs. Droplets of this in the air effectively attach to pet fur and potentially ingested by grooming. Even small amounts of eucalyptus oil can be toxic, especially when ingested or applied directly to the skin.

VICKS FOR EVERYTHING
Every season I use this in the steam vaporizer. It really does help cough and congestion and even the doctor recommends doing so. Also in combination with Vicks Vapor Rub. VICKS = a family tradition for as long as I can remember. Vicks can cure anything. Well, almost anything. ;) You can't go wrong here.

Great nose opening scent

It was ease to open and dispense the vaposteam into the humidifier. The vapor emitted helped to clear our nasal passages allowing us some better sleep. Very Soothing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using Vicks VapoSteam for a few years now, and it’s one of those staples I make sure to keep in the house, especially during the winter months. When added to a warm mist humidifier, the medicated vapors work wonders to relieve congestion and help me (and my family) sleep better when we’re under the weather. The scent is strong but soothing — that signature Vicks menthol aroma — and it starts working almost immediately once the steam fills the room. It really helps open up the sinuses and ease coughs, particularly at night when symptoms tend to get worse. I also like that it doesn’t leave any mess or residue in the humidifier like some essential oils can. Just pour a little into the water chamber and you’re good to go. It’s gentle enough for kids (though I always use less for them) and doesn’t irritate sensitive noses. Highly recommend keeping a bottle or two on hand — it’s one of those simple products that genuinely makes a difference when you’re sick.

Great for cough and colds!

It has been soothing for their cough and has helped them sleep better through the night. Did not help with cough suppression
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was sent to me as part of a promotion, but all reviews are my own true honest opinions on the product. I have been using this vaposteam with my Vicks humidifier and when I do my room smells pleasant. However, I could not notice any improvement in cough suppression which is the main purpose of this product. It comes with a decent amount of product but it’s pricey and doesn’t do what it says it does. Also, for those with pets, please be aware it’s unsafe for them to ingest or inhale. Overall, the only thing I liked about this vaposteam was the smell and therefore I have to give it a low rating.
