New formula will have me buying elsewhere
I wish I'd looked at reviews before my last order. I didn't think I needed to though since I'd had no trouble with this for years. Obviously a new formula. My biggest complaint is this stuff absolutely refuses to dissolve. Big globs with dry mix in the middle is very unpleasant.

Tastes horrible
With Metamucil out of stock, I decided to try this generic version. I rue the day. Such a foul tasting powder can hardly be imagined. God willing I will be able to choke it down until I can get back to the store for the Right Fiber.

NEW FORMULA IS NASTY & WEAK!!!!
The Change in New Formula is Horrible!!! This use to be my Morning Reutine Drink for over 10 years and it helped me significantly-New formula is nasty, sandy weak, & Does nothing for me. So upsetting when companies do this with No warning assuming Consumers won't notice😡 We definitely have and will no longer buy!!!!

UP&UP is tops on this fiber powder and all its products!!
I've tried other brands but Up&Up Psyllium Fiber Powder is by far the best for quality, effectiveness and price. Just recently, Wal-Mart which I don't care for, had a similar orange flavored powder but it was nearly $10 more. I tried that years back and Up&Up beat it hands down. Thank you Target for all that you do for community, causes and having the best department store for browsing, ambiance and diversity. Keep up the great work!!

new formula tastes like plastic
Doesn't have a natural taste or feel. feels slippery like plastic and has a plastic aftertaste. the orange flavor is very weak too, not as good as the old formula. hard to rate effectiveness. price increase and cheaper formula, no longer a buyer.

Gets the job done, but odd taste
Fiber product does...well...what fiber products do. This one just has a bit more of a funky artificial taste than some of the other brands.

Very different and I'm disappointed
Well, this is drastically different than the fiber that I have been buying for years. Its texture is not smooth, it’s lumpy and the taste is not very good. I am very disappointed and will not be buying this again.

They changed this DO NOT BUY
I hardly ever leave reviews but this product is so disgusting I have to. They changed the formula and it is so bad. Like awful indigestible bad. The consistancy is not that of baking soda. One taste and you will be sorry. Please. Trust me. Don't. I also think it's unfair we can't return this $21 dollar product after opening it so let me save you the money. DON'T.

Huge Change
I've been an 18 year, habitual daily user of psyllium fiber husk therapy. I have IBS and it's the only thing that works. I have used Walmarts/targets/riteaid/giant/etc and Metamucil version. I actually prefer the generic versions. There is usually is a consistency with these, which I assumed to be the same white label producing the product. This Target formula is hot garbage. Targets used to be my favorite, but the consistency tells me something is amiss. I measure this out religiously, and with the target versions it always is less viscous and works not as well. I think there is a lot of fillers instead of the product. Do not recommend.

Big Target miss!
New formula is awful. It is a darker color and has clumps in it. It doesn't work as well as old formula. I got my money back and will go back to Metamucil brand. I hope with all the complaints on the new formula, Target will do some investigation on this product.

Terrible
To get the real picture, sort the reviews by "most recent" and note how all the recent feedback is all terrible. Target keeps showing the older, better reviews from before this product was re-designed, but it's not the same product and those old reviews are irelevant now. The new product is not good, does not readily dissolve in water and is worse than the old product in every way. More expensive too!

Reformulation; not as good as old formulation
Target has reformulated this product. While the packaging is nicer, it does not taste as good. It is a finer powder and becomes bubbly in water. I preferred the grittier powder and thought it blended better into water. The previous formulation was far superior in taste. Target, please consider returning to your previous formulation!

Why change it??
Ran out and just paid all that money for the big container with the new label, only for it to be gross... gee thanks. I'm glad someone else said it tastes like laundry detergent, because that was my exact thought, too! It's now smoother like the brand name... but it wasn't worth it at all for the flavor change. The grittiness of store brands took time to get used to, but this flavor won't be possible. Can we return something like this after opening, or is that much money just wasted... :(

Flavor changed for the worse.
I've been buying this for years. Is Ben a good value and tasted pretty good (it tasted like Tang is you made it strong and then followed with more water afterward. I recently bought a new container and it now tastes like a Fresh Scent laundry detergent with some orange flavor added in. It's definitely NOT something I want to drink! This makes 2 of their pharmacy products (to my knowledge) they've recently changed for the worse. Their fruit-flavored antacid (calcium carbonate) tablets taste much worse, too.

If it ain't broken, why change it?
Target messed up by changing the formula on its previously good tasting Up&Up Orange flavor fiber supplement. This powder now tastes like it has been stored next to an open bag of onions. Needless to say, oranges and onions don't meld well. Please go back to your previous formula or you will lose many customers.

New formula - waste of money
Read the reviews. As many are saying the old formula was better, actually worked and tasted good. This new stuff has a weird frothy consistency and foul flavor and aftertaste. But of course the worst is that it does absolutely nothing for my digestion, no idea what they did but clearly cutting corners. Going back to Metamucil, it's pricey but actually works.
