Make a statement with the Melrose Barstool. Accentuated with the attractive multistep wire-brush finish, soft linen upholstery and genuine brass nail heads. Both sides of the backrest are upholstered and lined with antiqued finish nail heads. Available in a driftwood gray wood finish with a choice of oatmeal and ivory linen upholstery. Both options are designed with precision engineering, made with solid rubber wood and guaranteed to last. The Melrose also features a full-ring footrest protected with a metal kick plate on top, double seat apron, high density foam cushion and a ball bearing steel swivel plate which provides a flawless three hundred and sixty degree swivel. Beautiful Barstools!
I love these barstools! They are super comfortable. The top of our countertop is at 44” and these were the perfect height. The install was not too bad. You have to really pay attention to the drawings in order to make sure you are installing correctly. I recommend to build these when you have about 45 minutes to spare for each. The color was a bit darker than I thought but it still looks good with our theme. I love the distressed look.

Gorgeous bar stools!!
Gorgeous bar stools!! They go great with my French Country decor. Great quality! No issues whatsoever. My husband complained about the assembly. Apparently the way the seat is preassembled makes it extremely difficult to attach the other parts. But he did it. Like others have said, it does take 45 mins-1 hr per stool. We bought 4....Fyi, other websites have this same exact stool for hundreds more, be wise and stick with Target. Best price and fast shipping.

More brown than gray
These barstools are sturdy and very well made. The quality is very good, however, the wood is not really a gray color but more of a light brown. Although I do think they are very attractive stools, I ordered them looking for more of a gray wood/look so I will be returning them for that reason only. They were relatively easy to put together as well.

Wow have I had so many compliments on these stools!
Wow have I had so many compliments on these stools! After reading the good reviews from these stools, I decided to purchase 2 for our kitchen counter. They were also on sale. And wow are they nice! Everybody says they look expense, and from a fancy store...like restoration hardware. They are nice! They look like very good quality, even though the wood material isn't the nicest. A few things to note: 1) the color/materials are more of an ivory and dark beige...not so much of a grey. 2) the wood material had small chips in some areas...don't think they'll hold up for years and years. But for the price, they'll do well for a few years 3) they take awhile to put together. At least 45 mins a piece. Could be due to the fact that one of ours had unaligned holes to screw in. So some adjusting etc was needed, to complete them. Overall, not a bad buy. They are very pretty to look at! You will get great compliments.

Stylish, Fair Priced, & Just what I wanted
Great Stools. I bought two of them for my breakfast bar in my apartment. Went great with the kitchen and had everything I was looking for. Stylish design with a cushion back and seat and it swirls/rotates for easy movement when seated. The assembly was easy enough with instructions. Took a bit of time though because of the screws being in hard places. But I love the way they look, feel, and they were great for the price. I would recommend.

Great quality and fun design but the driftwood gray should be called driftwood tan
I have one caveat to this raving review. They are an awesome value IF you are looking for TAN stools. Don't be fooled by the "driftwood gray" description like I was. They did not match my otherwise gray decor. We were really disappointed because they are super cute and well-made. The material of the frame is very strong rubberwood, similar to Trex decking material. The seats were comfortable and really would have been totally satisfied if these had only been the right color. We returned them with ease to the local Target store. I just love Target's fair return policy which keeps me a loyal shopper.

These chairs are exceptional! You can't beat the quality for the price. We have gotten so many compliments on them and people can't believe they aren't expensive. Yes the color is definitely ivory and a natural color wood but from reading the reviews we expected it. We actually preferred the ivory color over the gray. Each chair took about 30 minutes to put together.

Happy with my new Bar stools!
I am very happy with this bar tool. I ordered the driftwood gray and they are exactly what I was looking for. I compared the price to other sites and Targets price was unbeatable. I was able to assemble these with out any help. Some of the area's the screws go into are a little tight so fingers got a little sore using the small hex key.

Nice bar stools, great value
After searching online for several weeks, I purchased these bar stools on sale for $74 each. Because the kitchen opens to the great room, and the bar stools sit on the great room side of the bar, I was looking to tie into an end table that is a weathered, grayish wood finish. While other reviewers felt these chairs were more tan than gray, I think they're more on the gray side, and they work perfectly with that end table. The upholstery is a perfect neutral (creamy beige) and feels very heavy and nice. My OCD wishes they had spent a little time lining up the assembly holes for the back rest with the weave of the seat, but that's not a deal-breaker (just a nerve grinder). Assembly was easy once I got the hang of it. The first chair took well over an hour to assemble, but the third and fourth went together in about 30 minutes. Overall, the chairs feel sturdy and look very nice. They definitely look more expensive than the $74 sale price or even the $93 original price. I would definitely purchase again.
