Although the breadbox would be a beautiful complement to any countertop or pantry, it is not designed to be airtight. Therefore anything stored inside would be exposed to air. We recommend keep your baked goods sealed while storing inside the breadbox.

The slats on the front are gapped at an angle as well as it does not easily slide open or closed. The being smaller part really would be my fault for not looking at the dimensions. So I'll live with that but not at all the quality I expected considering it's a $50 bread box
