Expired Product, No Accountability
I purchased a sunflower butter from Target that had an expiration date of June 2025. When I opened it, I immediately noticed an unusual odor, but I unfortunately ate some of it anyway before realizing it was expired. After checking the date, it became clear the strange smell was because the product had gone bad. Shortly after eating it, I started feeling sick. What made the situation even worse was Target’s response. It’s concerning that Target does not properly check expiration dates on products sitting on shelves. I reached out to guest relations expecting at least an apology or some attempt to make things right, but they offered absolutely nothing — not even a refund. The lack of concern for customer safety and poor customer service was extremely disappointing.

Great substitute for those who have peanut allergies
This has the best taste! We have to use something non-peanut due to an allergy in our house and this definitely fits the bill and is a great substitute. I even made the peanut butter Hershey kiss blossom sugar cookie recipe using the sun butter instead. It was a great substitute. It also tastes wonderful on toast or sandwiches.
