Great top coat and long wearing
As the top coat, this really makes a difference on long lasting coverage. Any Essie gel color is nice and topping the color with this Step 2 dries quickly and holds my manicure for a full week. I've tossed most of my other brand nail polishes because this wears so well. Easy to remove with a true acetone polish remover.

My Go-To Nail Product
This is my absolutely favorite gel nail product. I've been wearing this (with Essie Fairy Tailor Gel Polish) for years as my go-to. I love that you don't need a UV light for it to set (less products I need to store and it avoids the bad UV rays on my skin). It also dries quickly and makes the manicure last longer. My manicure normally lasts at least a week, often closer to two.

Badly shrinks
I want to love this. Dries quickly and with great shine but the shrinkage is terrible! I’ve tried different application methods such as applying while color coats are still wet, letting them dry before applying the top coat, etc. regardless, I always cap the nail. It shrinks so badly by the cuticle. I love wearing dark colors and the shrinkage pulls most of the color leaving a pale ring by my cuticle. Have to go back to the Gel Setter.

Dries quickly, but not shiny
Dries quick, but not shiny. Disappointed by this top coat. Dries fairly quickly, but stays tacky/rubbery. Also has a dull finish. I’ll stick w Olive and June top coat for the same price

Chipping By Day Three
My nails looked great at first and for about a day or two, but by day three they were chipping badly. I put two coats of color and one coat of top polish on exactly as instructed. I have tried this with multiple colors of this polish. Unfortunately, it does not last as long as advertised.

Goes on beautifully, that is the only plus. If you do one coat, it starts chipping in 1 day. 2 coats lasts about 1.5-2 days. It peels off in strips. The worst and this wasn't a cheap nail polish. The worst.
