buyer beware
They changed the label and quietly removed"sulfate free" but kept it expensive. This scent no longer has the same ingredient list. Dried the heck out of my hair. smh

Good shampoo, too small bottle
I love this stuff - the citrus scent especially - but the smaller bottle of this (13.5 fl oz) costs just as much as the bigger bottle of other scents and doesn’t have a pump. Why can’t I buy 29.2 fl oz of this? I don’t need smooth hair in the winter, the dry air takes care of that. I want volume. Disappointing. Guess I’ll pay a dollar more for 16.5 fl oz of Native since it comes with a pump and I have no objection to cucumber-mint scent.

Silicone filmy feel and frizz
The scent is amazing but leaves silicone buildup filmy feeling and frizz. Please create a silicone free conditioner version of this scent. I'd love it as a hair mist/perfume too.

Contains Menthol
I was so excited to try this grapefruit-scented shampoo, but I just couldn’t get past the cooling menthol in the formula. I’m not a fan of that cooling feeling, and generally avoid products that contain any kind of cooling additives. The shampoo is okay, and it will give you sort of a squeaky clean feeling, but Im definitely reaching for something else next time.

Incredibly drying
I have extremely fine hair with basically no volume. The good news is this shampoo did not weigh down my hair and I could go 24 hours without feeling too oily at my roots. The bad news is this shampoo accomplished that by drying my hair out soooo badly. It was literally like straw after towel drying and needed lots of detangler. I ended up returning the product

If you're not already, we recommend applying the shampoo to your scalp. After rinsing it out, follow up with the matching conditioner on your hair to return moisture. Use more conditioner on the ends of your hair, which does not get enough of the natural oils from your scalp. It may also help to leave the conditioner on for up to 5 minutes. Grapefruit Shampoo
My hair type is coarse, but fine too. Wow, this is a fantastic product! I've enjoyed several different shampoos from Herbal Essences. Out of all the brands I've ever tried, yours are the best. I have also read that once you find a shampoo that works for your hair type, you should stick with it. Over the years I've tried so many different ones my hair has built up a lot of product. I need to allow my hair to balance. Your brand is the only one I will ever try again!! Thank you so much for making more natural products, and caring about the health of people's hair.

Compared to other Herbal essence shampoos this is a good performance shampoo compared to other brands, makes suds rapidly, rinses quickly, no need to use conditioner as shampoo is nourishing and makes hair more manageable, only problem is very pricy as the price increased much but it could be due to higher quality ingredients so more cost to better quality ingredients.
