Item is cute and nice size. However, it broke the first day.

This toy broke apart after a couple uses. Some parts were small enough to swallow and choke on and we ended up throwing it away.

I was so excited for Santa to bring this to my 3 year old..she was over the moon excited to receive this because now she could bake just like mommy! Sadly this mixer has a ball on top roughly the size of a marble that easily came off! Had my daughter not handed it to me because she so sad her toy "bwoke" she could have choked on it! This toy is labeled for ages 2+ younger kids wouldn't neccesarily bring the handle of death to their parents like my little one did. Needless to say she is super bummer she cant play with her cool toy from santa because it's not safe :(

I actually bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas......being a retired FCS teacher, I thought a little mixer would be ideal!! I'll let you know how she likes it !!

I purchased this for my daughter and the second time we sat down to play with it, the green knob on top broke off. I love this item, but am going to return it due to this defect. I am also very concerned because the knob that broke off is quite small and is a choking hazard. Thank goodness we were sitting with her when it broke off and were able to pick it up right away. We have several other Learning Resources products and have been very happy with them. This toy definitely lacks quality.

After one day of play on Christmas my 2 year olds mixer broke. The plastic pieces that hold the heavy mixer top to the base are not strong enough to support the weight of the mixer. They need to consider some sort of metal hinge construction.

The join where the top and bottom of the mixer are connected is not strong enough to live up to one day with a two year old playing with it normally. The plastic tabs that hold the top on completely broke off, and there is nothing to snap back on to. Toy would benefit from a redesign to make the join stronger!

Fun for a toddler but not safe. The egg, butter and hand mixer are great but the connection of the hand mixer to to the base is poorly constructed. In the first week, with no effort by our 2 year old the two tiny pieces connecting each side broke and could have easily been swallowed. Thankfully one of us was there when it happened. I always look at reviews before purchase but unfortunately missed how many good ones for this product were collected as part of a promotion, which typically keeps me from buying.

The ball at the top of the mixer comes off very easily. It is a choking hazard for small children!
