Q: how do you change the battery when necessary?

A: To replace the battery you remove the screws that are under the roof overhang to lift off the top then remove the white square to access the battery compartment. Be sure to use the same type of rechargeable battery that it came with and not a regular alkaline battery. -SLHG

Q: do these lights charge even when in "off" mode. We want to be able to shut them off so that they are not seen at night while not in use. Thanks

I left my lanterns in the sun for a day. They worked well for a couple of days but now they don’t turn on st night. What should I do? Turn them off to charge again when the sun comes out?

The light is a pretty good size, it is attractive and came quickly. I only bought one of them. It gives off a decent amount of light, The light is more of a softer white rather than the white white bulb I was kind of looking for. I am happy with it and it seems well made

Love these lanterns. Very bright and stay lit a long part of the night. Look very nice on my back deck steps. Going to order another set for my front steps. I also have the 22" lantern. Would recommend them. My daughter wants them now too for her house!!
