First, these take up good sized footprint so won't get more than 3 under average counter unless long space. 68-70" end to end for three of these to comfortably sit people in them. Utterly horrible to assemble. Hardware components not separated so that's first step. Threading on bolts and inserts strips easily. Holes don't match up. instructions pretty much useless. Trying to get mortise/tenon connections together etc is exasperating (polite language here). Then trying to get seats bolted to frame...most I could get lined up and screwed in w/o stripping threads was 3-4 of 6 per stool. Unless our 4 just skipped QC in Malaysia these are best bought if you just need to test your patience and self control. And I've assembled furniture from kits and built multiple pieces of furniture from scratch over 40+ years.

The chairs were all broken when they arrived so now I must pack them up and get them returned. They are pretty and I will be having them replaced. The color of the “walnut “ is a little orange in tone, but they’ll still compliment my all walnut kitchen island.

Dude listen to the previous reviewer. I didn’t listen and bought them cause of the good price, but they did come with the legs broken. Kinda weird that it’s the same problem. Do not buy!
