  • A: It's a new product. The "promotion" reviews might have useful information but if the reviewers got their test units free, obviously not unbiased. A few "real" reviews are starting to appear but at this time of year most purchases are likely Christmas presents not yet in use.

  • A: Msdoubtful, I purchased this item Black Friday 2019 - I LOVE IT! No promotion, just a good deal. I find the oven to have very accurate baking temp, quick heat up, and versatile. I purchased it for it's multi-features - air fry (I'm not great at that feature, but it works), and it's versatility in baking. It can fit taller items for baking than a normal toaster over, such as a small ham for the holidays. I wish it were just a hair wider to fit a 9x13 pan with handles in it, but I've learned to compromise with smaller dishes. It's a great buy for anyone who wants a multi-feature product.

Q: You state the interior is galvanized steel. Since galvanized steel typically contains lead, can you confirm whether or not the interior contains any lead? Does the interior contain PFAS?

Q: For each cook setting, does this oven tick (i.e. like an old fashioned timer) ? Please be specific if it's only when you use "toast" or only if you set a timer instead of using an "always on" feature.

  • A: It doesn't tick, but it emits a high pitched beep every time you turn any dial. The dB meter on my iPhone measured the decibel level at 74dB, which is similar to a vacuum cleaner. To change the oven from toast to bake(2 clicks), 30 minutes to 10 minutes(20 clicks), and 350 degrees to 400 degrees(10 clicks) is a total of 32 loud, high-pitched beeps. I took it back before I even got to do the first pre-heat.

  • A: This oven is digital and does not feature any 'ticking' noise when counting down for any cook setting, including "Toast." There is an audible alert that sounds at the end of the cooking cycle, and the appliance 'beeps' when time, temperature, and function settings are being selected.

I really like this oven

My model number on my unit is actually 31191 but that was not on the list. Anyway, I have had this oven for 2.5 weeks and so far I love it. Does not take up much space on the counter. I love the air fryer function and the reheat. I do have to air fry things at a higher temperature and for longer than package directions, but that is not a big deal to me. This was purchased to replace an old Hamilton Beach Countertop oven that worked so well and lasted so long that I decided to stay with a Hamilton Beach product.

Heating coils bottom broken

Toaster was working great, bought it like 3 years ago. Then noticed that it was taking long to heat up food or toast. Found out the bottom coils were broken and only the top ones work. Does anyone know how to fix them or where to replace them?

It worked fine but the door spring broke.

It's a decent budget oven toaster grill with rotisserie spot, but the convection fan does not have its own heating coil. So it's not doing turbo convect. I'm using a special placement and some weight to keep the door closed .

Does not cook/air fry as specified

I really wanted to like this for a toaster oven and air fryer, but it takes twice as long to cook anything- it’s like the heating element is not at the true temperature and the air fryer doesn’t crisp unless you cook at twice the recommended amount of time. What options do you have for a return if you already used it?

There are better toasters

No clock, no internal light. It has an 'air fry' button but it's just a glorified baking setting, not really air frying. It bakes and does pizza fine.

Piece of Junk

This is terrible. It radiates so much heat, air fryer is a joke, I burnt my finger opening it. Fish never got up to temp, had to keep adding time then it was like rubber. Going back.

Awesome & no complains

Awesome air fryer and toaster oven! I have had it for three years with no mechanical issues. It also beats heating up the oven in the summertime too! Don’t forget to press the air fryer button but overall it is great for every day use!

Absolutely useless excuse for a toaster oven

Absolutely worst designed oven ever. Did anyone even test this thing? It’s impossible to turn off. The start/ stop button does not work. Even when it’s unplugged it doesn’t turn off, and when you plug it back in again, it comes on exactly where it was! It’s also 100% impossible to speak to a real person at tech support. Hamilton Beach seems to do everything they can to stop you from actually speaking to a human. This is the worst technical support I’ve ever encountered. It’s going back!

Dont dont do it

The air fryer function is garbage. The regular oven function and toaster function is fine but takes longer time and a higher temp than suggested. That’s not even my problem with this item. It’s that the entire toaster gets HOT. I’ve burned myself countless times on this stupid thing. The sides, the top— okay.. fair enough but the area surrounding the handle that anyone’s fingers and hands could tough while opening the door? Don’t waste your money, keep looking.

Deception Deception Deception

Calling this toaster an air fryer is fraud. And no, that comment has nothing to do with failure to hit the air fryer button. That comment comes from this thing calling itself an air fryer when it is nothing of sort. Inch thick steaks do not take half an hour to air fry. Pork tenderloin does not take an hour to air fry. Freaking hamburgers do not take half an hour to air fry. This thing is ridiculously difficult to clean, smokes up the house with minimal use and cleaned every use. If a wanted a lie, I'd visit my gaslighting narcissistic mother where lies are plentiful and free. I wouldn't go to the store and drop a hundred bucks.

Terrible Product

SAFETY HAZARD!!! Product is VERY hot to the touch during cooking time. Burnt fingers pretty bad. If something should have been left on top of product it could catch fire. I reached out to Hamilton via email with no response. Buyer BEWARE!

Stop working properly before having it a year

Not even a complete year and the door no longer opens all the way and has to be pushed in a few times for it to close all the way. So I risk burning myself when taking my food out if the oven. No longrer can use the rotisserie or cook a frozen pizza seems like a waste of money.

Sturdy and works

I like this as a toaster. We had it for 3 years and it worked well. The arm for the door just broke. I guess with the constant heat it just snapped. We had to put a pot to hold the door. The air fryer never worked for me. I would buy another because of the size. The heat also turns the toaster brown after a while
