Mineral face sunscreen has three essential ceramides to help restore the skin’s barrier and provide long-lasting hydration, as well as niacinamide to help calm skin. CeraVe hydrating sunscreen lotion is allergy tested, paraben-free, fragrance-free, oil-free, oxybenzone-free, octinoxate-free, non-comedogenic and suitable for sensitive skin.

Application Tips:
Mineral-based UV filters form a protective barrier to help reflect UV rays away from the skin’s surface. Because the ingredients in a mineral sunscreen stay on the surface of the skin to help protect it, a white cast can sometimes remain after applying the product. Follow these tips to apply your mineral sunscreen:

Dispense a small amount to one palm and rub your hands together
Apply to one area of the body at a time and thoroughly massage into the skin
The formula should spread easily without leaving a greasy residue or feel
All sunscreens should be applied liberally for sun protection. It is essential to use any sunscreen product as directed.

Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including:

i hate this so bad that i typed in the target website in the search bar and logged in to review it

this is perfect if you love looking like a ghost. a ghoul. bts circa mid 2010s whitewashing era. on top of its whiteness, the formula is so thick that it feels like i am preparing myself to visit the sun itself. its not that serious. also if you wear makeup, good luck because it also pills. a formula like this in 2026??? but i am stubborn enough to use it all up. i have been mixing it with an essence or moisturizer to thin the formula out, which helps in spreadability but not whiteness so much. id suggest, in all scenarios of facial sunscreen, to go with asian beauty. any random korean or japanese one will be better than the american one that you find in your local store/retailer

My new favorite mineral sunscreen! It blends in much better than others I’ve used and it gives my skin a good glow. You do have to blend a mineral more than none mineral but it’s worth not getting all the added chemicals in other sunscreens. Reasonable price too.

Persistent white cast

The white cast persists through washing. I appreciate it's water resistant formula, but it's not for everyday use unless you're okay looking like a ghost at a high price point.

Nice scent, but the white cast was too much

I will not buy this sunscreen again. It left a very noticeable white cast and buildup on my face, which became even more intense with multiple applications throughout the day. While it was moisturizing and didn’t feel overly greasy, and it had a pleasant, non-typical sunscreen fragrance, the white residue was too much for me. I’ll be looking for a different sunscreen option.

This is an amazing product, by using it I have discover that I really like how absorbs into my skin. At first it feels think, but after a few seconds it feels in nicely and doesn’t feel greasy. It leaves face feeling hydrated and smooth. With their hyaluronic acid and ceramides that helps keep in the moisture. At first it doesn’t look invisible completely but after is blended it sits comfortable on skin without feeling heavy. My skin feels very fresh and not irritation at all.

White as theater makeup

This is not even usable due to how white it leaves your face and the fact it does not rub in AT ALL. I don't know anyone who would leave the house looking like this. Bad joke, Cerave.
