Almost great but dangerous
Would be great except the chrome on the hinge peels off, essentially creating a razorblade aimed at your buttcheeks. Even if you peel the chrome off the hinge, the hinge itself eventually breaks. I followed the care instructions but I've now purchased two of these and they both had the same issue. A real shame since everything else about these seats is great.

Training toilet warranty does not cover the training part
The chrome hinges corrode. I bought 3 years ago and it’s barely lasted. The corrosion is not covered by Topseat warranty so I have purchased a Bemis by Mayfair toilet seat with an easy-clean feature. Topseat must not understand that the seat is intended for small children training to use the potty so moisture and urine inevitable.

The idea is genius and my potty training toddler loves it, but the metal pieces that attach the seat to the toilet aren’t designed very well so the toilet seat slides back forth quite a bit.

Decent Option for Potty Training
The small seat works well for my toddler to sit on and he was very excited to use his own "big little potty seat." Unfortunately, the magnet in the seat is very strong and it's hard for him to pull the small seat down from inside the lid. The lid and seats are also very heavy, so when they close they could easy hurt little fingers. Overall it's a good seat for toilet training but I wish it had either a soft close or was made with lighter materials.

Shape causes spills
I love the idea of this - having a toddler seat built in so you don’t have to constantly be removing a baby toilet seat. But in practice, something is flawed in the shape because when our little girl uses it, pee sprays up and ends up on the floor 9/10 times. We have other toddler toilet seats in the house and this isn’t a problem so I’m convinced it’s the shape of the seat that causes it. Literally every time. It’s so frustrating. Maybe it works if you have a boy, but for a girl, not so much.

Not worth the price
Within a year the toilet seat will not stay open. The lid is constantly falling down and is quite heavy. It’s dangerous, especially around little fingers. We have bought similar seats from other brands that worked out much better. It is not a slow close seat, and it’s not super easy to pop off like other brands.

It is as perfect as I expected. I didn’t like the ones with ladder and chunky setup. This one looks just like a regular toilet seat and we could use baby girl’s small training potty as a stepping stool. It looks simple and elegant as I expected. The installation was simple, one suggestion I have is that when you screw in the toilet seat, hold the toilet seat at the upright position to get a tight screw. Once installed, it doesn’t move or wiggle. It is lighter than my original toilet seat. So far, I am satisfied with the product, I hope it lasts a long time.

Ended up returning. Heavy but the hinges don’t slow it down so the seat slams down. It’s also plastic fasteners that are tightened by hand so it wobbles. No sticky pads on the bottom either. Overall, just not a winner for us

Don't Buy It
If you’re looking to fall off a toilet seat, then definitely but this one. The bolts do not tighten all the way after numerous tries. Anytime anyone sits on the seat it shifts sending you for a ride - falling either off the toilet or almost in the toilet. We are not heavy people either. We were so excited for the convenience this seat offers but we have been very disappointed to say the least. Writing a review in hopes of saving someone else the hassle of putting it on, only to take it off again I return it.
