perfect results

This is the perfect gratin pan. The cast iron heats evenly and holds heat very well. The enamel coating means no seasoning and makes it easy to clean. The matte interior allows fats and oils fully underneath the food giving great browning and easy release. It works great in the oven and also to finish under the broiler.

These are good to have on hand for individual servings. I have a stack of them and I serve individual style at dinner sometimes, or good for small amounts of different dips, or sauces at gatherings. Serve hot or cold, the temperature will retain and warm dips will stay warm and cold desserts will stay cold. Great looking and great serving piece.

This gratin is great for making small side dishes, in our house that means mac and cheese. Its black matte finish on the inside of the pan allows for better browning, braising, and roasting. The heat capability is amazing and it will stay hot through out dinner. Safe for use on all types of heat sources, including gas, electric, and induction, and oven safe up to 500F. Chip resistant and dishwasher safe.

A great oval cast iron baker

This is the perfect serving dish for casseroles, gratins, and ratatouille recipes. I love the heritage look of the handles on this baking dish. With it being cast iron, it does a great job heating and being versatile where it can go from oven to table to fridge. A great dish to have for serving delicious meals. I also love the Graphite look and the contrast with the gray and black enamel, a perfect piece for every kitchen.
