This purchase was to replace the INTEX Wall Mount Skimmer we bought 5 years ago. This products quality is fantastic for our 20 Foot Round above ground Intex pool. We bought this one again because we were satisfied with this skimmers performance at removing leaves and bugs from the waters surface. Very easy installation and removal when shutting the pool down at the end of pool season.

Got to skim the surface of our stock tank pool. Clearly not the intended use (as smallest mounting bracket is still too high/big) but by using a clamp on the side, works well enough :)

I don’t usually write reviews but I’m making an exception with this item. This item is great, and the cost of it is way below what they should be charging. It is easy to install and does a remarkable job in keeping the pool clean. I have a small 12' above ground pool and live in the country so when there is any wind the pool surface is covered with dry grass leaves and dust which I would have to remove most of it by using a net which doesn’t take long but is still a pain in the butt. When I first used the skimmer it only took around 15 minutes to completely clean the grass leaves and DUST from the surface. I highly recommend this item. You won’t be disappointed!

Purchased and when I tried to use it, found out there is no way to connect it. Instructions are poor, hoses are two different sizes. Waste of money! Very disappointed after purchasing 52” x 22’.

Works very well and has made our pool a much nicer experience. The pool is partially under a tree that produces it own debris not to mention bird and squirrel activity with their own debris. This works! Don't be fooled by the price.

this thing sucks, not certain why they didnt make it out of a denser than water material so it would not CONSTANTLY float to the surface and break the filter suction

I was not sure how this would work in my stock tank pool. It was very easy to install and worked like a charm.

I've purchased two of these skimmer filters in the 4+ years that I've owned my pool and I've had mixed results. The first skimmer was set up with an Intex pool that we'd inherited when we purchased our house; 20' diameter with a 3000 gph Intex sand filter (with two input lines feeding the filter). The second was set up feeding a slightly larger Coleman pool but using the same sand filter and overall setup. Regardless of which pool the skimmer has been installed on, the overall design feels to be lacking. When the skimmer is installed on one of the two intake valves there isn't always enough suction for the skimmer portion to work appropriately; the blue "floating" portion of the filter may collect debris, but it is entirely dependent on the amount water flowing over the top and into that catch basin. Most of the time the suction is not sufficient to have water flow over the top, and either water is just flowing underneath the debris guard or is filling the reservoir from the flaps on the bottom of the unit. I've attempted to block off the flow from the other inlet - to increase the amount of water / suction coming in through the unblocked inlet - but then I felt that the sand filter was not getting nearly as much water pulled into it. When working, the skimmer can be VERY effective at getting surface debris (leaves, insects, cottonwood cotton), but it also can get clogged very quickly. I should note that we suggested this same model of skimmer filter to family friends, and although they have a slightly smaller pool it seemed to work better with their overall setup. They have a smaller Intex sand filter (due to the smaller pool size), but they'd blocked off the 2nd inlet and had their entire pool water going through the skimmer filter and sand filter.

hard to keep it on side of pool. some times it goes right on and sometimes you have to fight with it.

very good deffinatly helps take the bugs and top dirt from pool water and makes daily maintaince easier

Great skimmer! Larger than my old one, easy to install with included fittings. Bracket fits perfectly. Very happy with this purchase.
