Very comfortable and sharp
This knife is very comfortable to hold and is extremely sharp. I believe it is well worth the price to have in your kitchen. I have not had it Long enough to know how long it will keep its edge.

No more food processor
I used to bring out my big heavy food processor every time I needed to chop up a bunch of veggies for soups, sauces, and stocks. I hated the effort it took to take out to use, and then the clean up. Purchased the 7" Santoku for these jobs, and so happy I did. The contoured handle feels great and I have experienced no hand fatigue. The blade is the perfect shape to chop veggies, mince garlic, onion, and shallots. I also prefer the option of being able to have actual knife cuts in my soups, rather than having to deal with the limitations of a food processor blade. The best part, is the easy clean up. When I'm finished all I need to do is rinse off the knife and cutting bored and I am done. Sometimes a good knife is all you really need,.

I use the 7" santoku just as much as I use my chef knife and love it. I use it on meat, poultry, and vegetables. The hollowed out edge makes it so the food does not stick to the blade when you are slicing, dicing and cutting which is very nice.

Nice Santoku with a hollow edge blade so food won't stick. A satin-finish with a blade that is 1/2 serrated and has a full bolster. The endcap is a nice touch on the end of the handle, along with a slight curve so it fits nicely in your hand and gives a good grip. the graphite color is a beautiful touch, especially for modern kitchens of today.

This is a nice way to get a quality forged knife at a more value price point. The full stainless handle feels really light and is brushed so it has a nice grip. It is also super easy to wash and keep clean. The Santoku is a great knife for chopping vegetables and the hollow air pockets help to prevent food from sticking to the blade as you slice.

Execellent Chopper
Great santoku with a very sharp blade that will holds its edge really well. It's forged construction makes for great weight and balance; really nice feel in the hand. The santoku is an Asian blade style designed to chop fruits and vegetables perfectly. The hollow edge or "dimples" create an air pocket which helps food release from the blade.

Very Good. Very Cool.
With its very modern sleek design, this line of all metal knives is very good. The quality of the steel, the workmanship of the fully forged blades with integrated bolster makes the knife comfortable and easy to work with whether you’re cooking for one or prepping for a banquet. These knives are well worth the money. This santoku knife, it comes in two sizes, is a terrific chopping knife. Designed to go to work on vegetables, it can slice meat with equal ease. The hollow divots reduce friction and allow food to slip away easily. I prefer the 7-inch because I have the length to cut through larger foods.

Good look
What a nice knife. The stainless steel creates a two-tone effect between the blade and the handle, which is a great look. The forged blade is sharp with dimples to help prevent food from sticking. The handle is lightweight and non-slippery.

Chops, slice and glide knife!
This Zwilling International Graphite 7" Santoku knife has no difference at all from Chef knifes functionality however it varies on cutting motion and contour individual chef preferences. This design is most likely Asian style knife, it is better for chopping motion and will also glide as it chops. It is a versatile knife, great for exploring cooks. Indention on the blade called hollow edge, this creates barrier between the steel and the food prevents food from sticking to the blade. It is fully-forged bolster forged blade, high quality German steel and excellent durability and well balance. Blades satin-finished blade produces precision cuts and is honed for long-lasting sharpness. Rounded almost D-shaped satin-finished handle contoured for comfort in my hand while cutting food and it is gorgeous with stainless steel end cap stamped logo for finishing touch and stability of this knife.

This santoku is perfect for vegetable prep. Its made from high quality German Steel and has a fully forged bolster (middle of the knife) which means is strong and durable. The handle looks like smooth metal but it actually is brushed so no slipping when wet. The hollow edge helps move food away from blade when cutting.
