DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Nails should always be filed when dry to ensure smooth edges. Place the file under the nail edge at a slant and file in one direction only. Back-and-forth filing may cause cracking and splitting. For best results, nails should be filed into an oval shape following fingertip contour. Filing into a point weakens the nail.

There isn't much of anything good to say about this nail file. The areas where a person would file their nails has no grit or substance. It's like filing your nails on a concrete sidewalk, which doesn't do much good at all. Barely changes the nails itself and leaves it rough and ragged. I have never seen such an awful nail file before. I gave it a one because there wasn't anything lower to leave. Take my advice, don't buy this nail file.

It just has ridges or grooves there isn't any way to file your nails you should offer a diamond nail file for your customers you know it actually has been used for decades! This file isn't a file it's what usually comes with nail clippers and used to clean under your nails!! Come on Target

Bought this three weeks ago and it sliced my skin under my fingernail. I assumed I was being way too hard. Today I tried to file my nails again and was very cautious and gentle and it still sliced my finger open again but at least not under my nail this time. On top of the file not even doing a good job.
