3/5
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Versatility: great for moving and fitting different size closets. Sturdiness…26lbs in clothes are much minus jeans. Space-saving…did not save much space but did expand closet capacity.

Great added storage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This adjustable pulldown closet rod was the perfect solution to our added closet in our bonus room! We added a room above our garage and needed some help with closet storage. This was easy to set up and perfect to help us organize the space!

Pull out closet rack!!! Can’t get better than that
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t have a drill to put it up on my wall yet, I’m getting one shipped in and it’s not going to make it in time for review due date. But it’s so sturdy, all metal rods for durability and just all around great materials. And it hangs from the wall which makes up for space, I can’t wait to put it up and show y’all.

It is pretty sturdy hold alot of my clothes. If you need closet organization this is your answer.

NOT for disabled
This takes a lot of arm and upper body strength to use. They promote it with videos of people in wheelchairs or small women using it with ease and that's simply not possible unless you are a weightlifter. We just had a contractor install these in an expensive remodel we did to make my house usable now that I'm in a wheelchair. I can't use them at all. In fact my husband, who is fully capable, six foot tall guy, says it would make a good exercise machine because it takes that much pulling strength. Closet contractor won't help us. Manufacturer won't help us. Huge waste of money.

Thanks you for the feedback. Yes it is true this product is not approved to be ADA compliant and we make no claims that it is, but it does allow clothing to be lowered down to the height if someone who may be in a wheelchair or even of shorter height. This also allows someone with higher ceilings in their closet to stack these units above one another for perhaps seasonal clothing that is not used as often for more storage. The fact that you are having trouble pulling the unit down is all dependent on how much weight you have on the unit. Since the unit is expandable the shorter the width, the less amount of clothing and the more difficult it can be to pull down. However, the wider the unit and more clothing actually makes the unit easier to pull down with the added weight. The heavy duty lifting/lowering mechanism is made to hold up to 25lbs and to achieve this the system needs to be robust. Trust us, you will want this to be heavy-duty so when you do have a large amount of clothing, the unit does not come slamming down. We are sorry that this product did not meet your expectations, but we selling thousands upon thousands of these units every year and have been for over 18 years with huge success.
