I don't know what kind of testing they did with this new material but it was insufficient. They really expect us to pay premium price for a product that feels like the budget brand? Too hard, too plasticky, too slippery. I never bother to leave reviews but this really ground my gears. What was the purpose of this change??

I have been purchasing this same floss for years - I literally go back into my past purchases and order from there to ensure I select the same item. I recently bought another pack and was displeased like others to find that they changed the format of this product for whatever reason. This floss is now much stiffer and plasticky, and it does not fit as easily between tight teeth. Some else called it fishing line and that’s a very apt description. It’s such a drastic change from the previous product; it’s so disappointing. I will be on the lookout for a new floss.

This floss is like using a plastic shoelace that doesn’t “glide” but sticks to the teeth! It doesn’t fit between some of my teeth it’s so thick! I miss the other design they had. Such a terrible product.

I like the old product better, why!!!!! The old product which goes by Pro Health not the comfort plus. This “New” product which I was using the old product for years, when I used this new one I’m afraid it will break apart my side fillings I have. The old product would rip before it would snag on anything. This new hard plastic fishing line type I HATE!! Please oral b bring back the old one back. Now this is just like every brand floss out there.

Like all the other reviews and the stark low rating of this product, this product has changed and is now awful. The floss is flat and plastic. It is nowhere near the quality or effectiveness as the old product. Avoid at all costs.

This floss was the best. Soft and gentle. They changed it, and now it shreds and cuts into your gums. It does not glide. It pops down in between your teeth, the same way Listerine Reach ultra clean floss does. It's exactly the same, and I hate that floss. I'm going to return this today and will never buy it again.
