A: Yes! I use Vanicream every night with retinol. If you want to layer: put on Vanicream, follow with your retinol, and then add another light layer of Vanicream. No dryness! (a secret from my Dr. Derm)

A: These products should work well together. However, the only way to be sure a product is safe to use together is to apply a small amount on the skin and see if a reaction develops. This is usually done on the underside of the arm above the elbow. If no problem is evident, a larger application area can be tried until the person is confident that no problem exists.
