This is a really good option of sunscreen and affordability. The only thing is not for oily or combination skin.

Not good for very sensitive skin
Wearing this for a week caused contact dermititis. I had horribly itchy, red skin. Very uncomfortable.

Doesn't work + rashes
My family and I wore this for a week in Florida and we all got burnt despite reapplying throughout the days. 3 out of 4 of us also got rashes. Very disappointed. Will not be using again.

Rash and bad white cast
Unfortunately fell victim to the new formulation. My boyfriend, who doesn’t even have sensitive skin, developed a rash just like everyone else that complained. The white cast was also pretty bad, I’m struggling to get it out of my black swim suit. We were hoping this would be a great sunscreen for our snorkeling trips, but we’ll look at other reef safe sunscreens.

Rash
I do not have sensitive skin when it comes to lotions and sunscreen. I purchased this to wear on vacation, as I’m 20 weeks pregnant. I’ve had a rash on my chest, arms, thighs, and shins that I originally chalked up to a heat rash but now feel is related to continued use of this sunscreen. Will be changing sunscreens for remainder of the trip and returning the second bottle I bought.

NEW FORMULA - SKIN RASH
**Be warned the formula has changed** I have extremely sensitive skin and this was the only sun screen I could use. I bought the new bottle for my beach trip and broke out all over my body because I did not know the formula had changed. I’m disappointed — I have no idea what sunscreen to use now because I’m allergic to all the other brands.

Absolutely Terrible!
I’d give this sunscreen a NEGATIVE -6800865444688 if I could it sucks!!!!! The casts that is leaves?! Is ridiculous! I look ridiculous with this blue tint on my face that will not go away. If your a darker skin color avoid completely. The quality is not worth the application.

I love this. It drys almost like a powder. However the white cast is bad, really have to put on in thin layers. It’s worth it to me, feels great and I hate most sunscreens

Sensitive and long lasting protected skin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just tried this and I’m impressed. No irritation, no strong smell, and no burning. My skin felt protected and calm the whole time even around my eyes. It is thicker than most sunscreens but for a good reason.

Red & Itchy Rash
I used this sunscreen for 2 days and got an itchy, red rash everywhere I applied it. Lo and behold, the internet is full of folks who have experienced the same thing from this "sensitive skin-safe product." The texture sucked and was difficult to apply. And even worse, Target wouldn't accept my return because I had decanted some of the product into a TSA-sized bottle. Terrible product and terrible customer service.

Great sunscreen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this sunscreen. It has great coverage and doesn’t leave me feeling sticky. The consistency is good and it provides great protection. I like that it is sensitive

I recently tried the Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen SPF 50 and was really impressed with its performance and thoughtful formulation. This mineral sunscreen uses Titanium Dioxide (8%) and Zinc Oxide (10%), offering reliable broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection. It's also water-resistant for up to 80 minutes, making it a great choice for outdoor activities, especially during summer or beach trips. One standout feature is the smart cap technology—the cap changes color in the presence of harmful UV rays, which is a neat reminder to apply or reapply sunscreen. The formula also includes skin-energizing electrolytes, which left my skin feeling refreshed, not greasy. I appreciate that it's reef-friendly (no Octinoxate or Oxybenzone), cruelty-free, and dermatologist-trusted. The texture is smooth and blends in better than most mineral sunscreens I've tried, though like many zinc-based products, it may leave a slight cast on darker skin tones. The 5 fl oz size is generous, and it’s easy to toss in a bag for travel or sports.

White casting sunscreen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried the sunscreen, but honestly, I didn’t quite like it. There’s white casting on the skin post application which makes it unwearable in public. Not sure about its performance in protecting from the sun, but the feel and the texture is definitely something the brand should work on to make it absorb better.

Caused Eczema Breakout & More
This left a major white cast on me and was very difficult to rub in. I’m extremely pale, so it’s rare that sunscreens leave a white cast on me, but this one definitely did. It also gave me a really bad eczema breakout on my face. I was immediately left with a very painful burning sensation, and then of course the redness and dryness. I’m sure it works much better on others, but for my personal skin type (sensitive, dry, eczema prone), I would not recommend.

Sunscreen for the win 😎
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay so I definitely have sensitive skin and a lot of the sunscreens I would use before either would cause an allergic reaction or wouldn’t fully protect my skin. This sunscreen is now my go to for my body and a staple in sunny Florida.

Keeps Me Safe In The Caribbean Sun!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral Sunscreen is one of the best mineral sunscreens I’ve used! It’s gentle on my skin, doesn’t cause any irritation, and gives great sun protection. It does leave a bit of a white cast but honestly, that’s expected with most mineral sunscreens. I love that it’s fragrance-free, reef-safe, and made with clean ingredients. It feels lightweight once it’s on and gives me peace of mind knowing my skin is protected. Definitely a staple in my routine!
