We suggest using the Hydrating Sunscreen SPF 50 Face Lotion which can be applied underneath makeup and water-based products. At times, if this very hydrating product is layered under or over another hydrating skincare product that has not fully absorbed into skin, it can cause the product to ball up or “pill”. To help avoid this, we recommend allowing the first product you apply in your skincare routine to fully dry and absorb into skin until it feels dry to the touch before layering on the next product.     I am not a hater! But this product is not lightweight. It goes on white when I try to rub it in it clumps up and flakes. So disappointing I can't take it back because I purchased it with insurance over the counter benefits I do have moisturizer cream on so tried it on skin that doesn't and it doesn't clump. Not sure if this is why?? Please let me know if this is normal?

Since you noticed it only clumps when used over your moisturizer, it’s likely that the moisturizer hasn't fully absorbed yet.     I have oily mixed with dry skin and acne prone, It feels thick using this product. I have been using this product for over 5-6 months. It is comfortable to use all day. It does leaves white cast sometimes if you are in hurry and do not have time to blend, but overall im satisfied with it

    Great budget option, provides skin protection

    I have the tinted version but it’s pretty much the same. The scent isn’t terrible and doesn’t leave too much of a sticky residue. It has decent coverage but nothing like a foundation or skin tint. Dispensing the product is easy just make sure to keep it clean.

    Not great on the face

    This product is ok- I found it to be very thick to use as an everyday sunscreen so it did not spread very well for the intentions I had. I wanted a sunscreen to put on after my face moisturizers and this one although had good coverage was very thick and hard to rub in

    This Cerave sunscreen is ideal because its ceramid

    I've been using this cerave sunscreen for a few weeks and l really like it for protecting my skin daily. What l value most is that it's a very safe mineral formula; thanks to the ceramides, my skin feels hydrated and not irritated at all, which is hard to find in other protectors. It's not greasy at all, which l appreciate because l hate that sticky feeling under the sum. Since it's a physical filter,it does leave a bit of a white cast at first, but if you apply it calmly, it absorbs well. It gives me great confidence that it's suitable for sensitive and eczema-prone skin. It's a simple, reliable, and very effective opcion for my skin health.

    Will never buy again

    Will never buy again. This sunscreen is too difficult to apply leaving white thick coloring on my arms. I tried using lotion first to hydrate my skin and this didn't work. Will return this product.

    Perfect for Mimes.

    I had low expectations, and this sunscreen still disappointed me. I wanted something that I could use on a casual day at home. Something non water-resistant, easy to wash off, and coomfortable. It does check all of those boxes. I knew it would have a white cast, but I am very pale, and I just want to wear it around the house, so I didn't think it would matter. But it dries down while you're still spreading it on the skin, creating a VERY bad white cast that is patchy and streaky and just looks awful. And I can't help but wonder if I'm getting an even layer of sun protection if the product can't lay evenly on my skin. Honestly I probably would still wear it at home, but I'm genuinely embarassed to step foot out of my apartment, whether it's to check the mail or take my dog out. I have super sensitive skin and can't use a lot of sunscreens, but I'm sure there's something better out there. This does feel decent on my skin, but I would only recommend it if you absolutely don't care what it looks like, or if you're not leaving the house at all.

    The best sunscreen is that CeraVe, the reason my face is beautifully clean. In the end, it's that product; I highly recommend it. That sunscreen has some really good ingredients.

    Makes me pale

    Bought this to have a better quality option for my skin and face and while the ingredients look decent, I have a hard time getting it fully rubbed into my skin. In the sense that it visibly makes me a shade or two paler than I already am.
