Description

The Smart Fountain holds up to 2 liters (1/2 gallon) and continuously flows the water to aerate and reduce stagnation, the built-in triple-layer filtration system ensures the water is fresh and odor-free. The ultra-quiet pump continuously pumps and the super-strong suction cups keep it firmly attached to the base. The light illuminates the water level so you can clearly see when it's time to refill, however, should you forget the light will change from blue to red as a visual reminder. The pump is designed to shut off if the water competently runs out to prevent it from overheating. It comes equipped with one replaceable filter that lasts up to 6 weeks of continuous use.   • A: It's rated for indoor use, but if the porch is covered and not exposed to moisture it should be fine. Keep in mind, this is power by electricity.

Not worth it

I had bought this for my two cats to have a separate water source from our dogs. We were extremely happy with it but within the first week, the whole thing was moldy. I changed out the water, cleaned everything, and replaced the filter (the filter was covered in mold) and the same thing happened - just within a few days. The instructions state the filter should last up to 3 months and cleaning should be done every 1-2 weeks. As of now, I am cleaning it every couple of days to avoid the situation. We will discontinue using this product and purchasing from a different retailer.

Great Product

My dog loves his fountain! I bought it because my dog’s water bowl used to run out in summer. To make sure he has enough water to drink, I decided to give dogness a try. It took my dog 2 mins to drink from the fountain, not like his first time and he got used to it (amazing)! Also, it is very easy to set up and clean. The pump is very quiet and you can also change the filter with a very reasonable price. It is an ideal product. And we love it sooo much!!

love it! get it!

Good quality, pretty color, my pets love it. The cat had a monopoly over it for a day or two but the dogs finally got over their fear and now everyone has constant fresh water flow. This sure beats having to refill or change out water several times a day.

Great Fountain

This fountain is awesome. I got it for my cats and dogs (smaller than the cats). It is the perfect size. I also bought the 1 liter but returned it as it was too small. I have since purchased 2 more for different areas of the home. I have a deaf cat who was constantly moving water bowls and sloshing water across the floor so he could see the movement before drinking. This fountain is heavy enough that he can't move it but still has the moving water. In fact, the other day at breakfast time, the cats were waiting by the fountain for me to turn it on instead of at the food bowls as usual. It is great! I would highly recommend this fountain.

Filtered water for my dog!

This fountain keeps the water filtered and clean. The constant flowing motion attracts our dog. It's super quiet. I don't have to keep changing his water bowl all the time any more.

Love the fountain!

This fountain is great for my pup because she drinks so much water! Before, I would have to refill her bowl every hour or so but now I don't have to worry especially when I am out of the house. The fountain is automated so that your pup will always have clean, fresh water. My pup used to scratch at her bowl to let me know she wanted more, know she is so excited to always have water!

Issues with pump, otherwise great simple fountain

I really like this fountain, it's pretty on the eyes, it's very easy to clean and I like that the pump is separate from the fountain so it can be replaced if needed. I also like the design of the snap in carbon filter, and replacement filters feel decently priced. Four stars because it's advertised as having an adjustable flow control. Perhaps some of the pumps do, but the one that came with my fountain does not. Also, the pump gets VERY loud after running it for a bit. I've found putting my finger over the water outlet seems to "clear" whatever is causing the noise but I have to do this every day and that's getting annoying. I may buy another pump since this one is causing us issues. Have only had the fountain a week now, so this is not a clogged or dirty pump issue (took it apart anyway just to be sure). Aside from the issues with the pump, I do really like it and would buy it again.
