I love that it appeals to both of them and they can play together. They love the pretend play of cooking and serving dinner. The tongs help with motor control. We have several sets of you food and those made by Learning Resources are of far superior quality.

Great quality. My 22 mo. Granddaughter loves it.

I've been giving Learning Resources food sets to my grandchildren for 3 years to go along with their toy kitchen at my house. These are by far their favorite toys. Even my 9 year old grandson and 9 month old baby grandson will play with these for hours. The sets are extremely well made, colorful, and easy to clean. Well worth the investment!

We have the veggie bucket as well and since our 13 month old loved those so much, we decided to get him the salad kit. I love that he's learning about healthy eating but also learning how to construct a salad / cook, etc. These toys are great quality and I highly recommend!

I purchased this to go with my daughters play kitchen and was blown away by how high quality this item was. The bowls feel just like name brand items I have in our kitchen (they are solid, when you hold them up to the light you cannot see light through it like lower quality items). I was expecting plastic food and I was wrong- the lettuce, peppers, and tomatoes have a very durable rubber feel to them. The tongs have real rubber ends. Her other play food was blown mold plastic that would clank and make a bunch of noise when she swished them around the bowls- these do not. The cucumbers actually feel like they have the skin on them. They are all textured as well and look very realistic. If you are looking for durable play food that doesn't make a ton of noise when they play with it look no further. We will be buying more items from this company.

I purchased this product to go with a kitchen for my grandkids, I found these items to be very durable and good quality, they actually look very realistic, we had a great time over Christmas playing with the different pieces of food.
