  • A: Hello thank you for you question, we do not believe this to be a concern as the space between the back of the trundle and the back leg of the full be is approximately 13". Also the trundle does not have locking wheels.

Bunk bed cozy!

The only problem I had

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only problem I had was when I tried to assemble the trundle bed. The side bars that were holding the slats were supposed to screwed into the frame at the head of the bed and at the foot. However, at the head of the bed there was no wood below the part where the side boards were supposed to be screwed in. In other words, there was nothing to screw the wood into.

Poorly designed Trundle Bed Frame.

Do NOT buy this bed with the trundle. The bed is fine but the trundle bed is poorly designed and broke the first time it was used. The design of the bracket that holds the casters screws in too close to the edge of the wood frame and splits the wood. This occurred in all four corners of the trundle bed frame. Unfortunately it was at a vacation home and wasn't used until after warranty for our grandchildren who lost the use of their home after the Eaton fire. It's a total loss so we just slide a mattress on the floor under the bed. Upon checking with a friend who had also purchased, the same thing happened to hers.

67 & 69 year old Grammie & Pa put together a bunk plus trundle for their grandsons!

Love the look and the sturdiness of these bed frames! The instructions are a series of pictures of each step and my husband and I put together the frames in about 3-4 hours. Once we understood each step, the bed went together very well. We are impressed with the quality and the appearance. We did make mistakes on the orientation of the head and footboard top piece orientation but otherwise, we did well. We are excited for our 3 grandsons to sleep over!
