Great Luxury Product
I've been using the Ouai clarifying shampoo for over a year and decided to give this hair mask a try. It smells a little too strong for my taste, but overall, I loved it! My hair is so soft and hydrated, I can't stop touching it. I did use the advice on their website and mixed it with a little bit of their hair oil and that worked really well for me. This product is very rich so you don't need to use a lot of it in your hair to do the mask. I have a lot of hair and it's long, but I probably only used about two dollops the size of a quarter. If you use too much, I can imagine this product will end up making your hair feel really greasy and oily afterwards. I think this product will work the best on fine hair. Thick hair or super tight curly hair probably won't get as good of a result from using this one, I think.

Amazing after bleach or hair dying
My hairstylist left my hair super dry after bleaching and coloring. I didn't know what to use. I bought this right after she did my hair at Ulta and it made my hair soft and shiny. I also used Argon oil on the ends. My hair is getting better and feels softer.

I have fine hair but love this one for thick hair and prefer it to the one for fine hair. It makes my hair feel hydrated and soft but not to soft. I can fix hair however I want and it works unlike some my hair will just not do because it's too soft or the other may reason your hair doesn't want to do that day.

Ouai hair mask
Was looking for a great mask for my hair and bought the amika as well as this one. Amika did NOTHING. This one on the other hand made my hair so soft and moisturized!! I am so glad i purchased this product. My hair was in desperate need and this product really did the job!!!!! Will be purchasing the bigger container when i run out of the small one!!!!

I clarified with the PM shampoo2 and then followed up with the oaui mask and WOW instantly felt the difference. before I couldn't run my fingers through my hair wet because of how dry it was but I definitely could after

Expected more for the price.
The product just smelled good and i expected more moisture after using but it made my hair dry. I use heat here and there and have overall dryer hair but this did nothing but smell good.

Not for Me
I have very fine hair and used to have much more of it before turning 50 and losing some through menopause. Nevertheless, it is generally healthy and shiny (most of the time) despite getting retouched for my gray and a few highlights 2x a year. With winter my hair was feeling parched and straw-like so I decided to detox and use this afterward. I typically use Kiel's but thought I would give this a try. I had, quite possibly, my worst hair day ever this morning. My first concern was that in the shower, when running my fingers through my hair when the mask was on, which I can usually do with my normal conditioner, my hair felt very knotty with a weird texture. When I blew it dry, I noticed that it was getting frizzy. By the time I was finished drying and curling, my hair was A MESS. Completely limp with not much shine and TONS of frizz. Not a good experience and it will be returned tonight.

Not for my hair
I used this product for the first time today and unfortunately I will not be continuing to use it. I have very fine hair that is bleached (highlights) and I was looking for something to repair the bit of damage that I have and smooth/shine my hair. This did absolutely nothing by completely dry out my hair after one use — while blowdrying after using it, my hair was very tangled. I'm disappointed because I've heard great things about this brand, but this product just was not for my hair.
