The application technique of this versatile formula influences the look and wear- it may be worn alone or with other lip colours and, if preferred, you can easily extend the wear by filling in your lip area with a lip liner prior to application. I have all three beautiful colors of this lip product that I apply according to time of day and the look I like to achieve. The colors blend well with my light pink lips, giving me a natural, hint of color look that I like. Speaking as an older adult woman, I like that the appearance is attractive, but not dramatic. Like all Clinique products, I like them because these are the only lip colors I've used that don't cause stinging and burning! I'd love it if the next color would be one with a red tint.

I will say that the pigmentation is more in the medium side. Its not over powering or bold. Its more of a stain type. I do have to reapply through out the day but its so moisturing I don't mind.

The coverage was light but had enough color payoff that I could see it being an easy lip product to put in my purse and reapply as needed! The lip was also super comfortable so that's a plus. The only issue I had was I think the black honey shade is a little dark for my pale/light complexion but I think it could be a great lip color for a more moody or fall makeup look!

My daughter and I each bought this. I loved how it looked on her so I tried it when it was on sale. It's our favorite lip product. We do sometimes add a clear balm over it for more shine but that's personal preference (we use dr bronners plain balm). I think it looks good on various skin tones My daughter is fair with reddish hair and I'm olive with white (gray but looks blonde) hair and it looks really good on both of us which is unusual.

The finish is satiny and not slimy or sticky, it doesn't bleed. I only docked a star because I don't love how it smells.

pink honey adds a little natural pop of color to my lips without being glossy or tacky. it feels pretty moisturizing, kind of like a tinted lip balm with a bit more color payoff to it. the packaging is also very sleek and perfect to throw into a bag to use on the go

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] As someone that grew up in the 90s and 2000s I wanted to like the black honey resurgence but it never looked quite right on me. I haven't tried the pink honey version. I think that nude honey is the right one for me. It looks natural like my lips but better. I like that it's slim packaging and its light weight formula. It's easy to apply and great for a 'no makeup' makeup look. I don't feel like I'm wearing anything. I do have to reapply through the day but that's expected. This is the right "honey" version for me.
