A: No it's a convertible car seat not an infant carrier car seat. Only car seats that are compatible with strollers are infant car seats

Q: What year was this model manufactured and is it compliant with the new FMVSS 213a standard for enhanced side impact protection? Does it specifically say “FMVSS 213a” bc I don’t see it in the description.
We enjoyed the seat while it lasted, but the straps frayed on ours. If I hadn’t take the cushion off to wash I wouldn’t have noticed that the seat belt strap was frayed. Can’t imagine what would happen if your child is in this seat in an accident.

Worth every penny
Bought this for my daughter 4 years ago, and out of all car seats she’s had in various family cars etc it is her favorite in comfort. I love how sturdy and well made it was. Got in a car accident with both my kids one forward facing and the other rear facing and it held and took the impact it didn’t even wake the infant. I will forever recommend this seat. Only negative is size. It doesn’t fit well in tiny cars. Example, it’s a tight fit rear facing in our Jeep gladiator but fits beautifully forward facing in it. I forever recommend this seat to anyone I know

Best seat ever!
My favorite car seat of all time. The extension out to me is amazing, the extended rear facing .. amazing, the easy turn even at heavier weights.. amazing, the comfort… amazing! Ohhh and the easiest install EVER! Send me a few more baby jogger! I had another baby and he likes his sisters way more than his current seat! Soooo we are about to have a few more! Sponsor us! 🥹😆😊

Great toddler carseat
Quick and easy to install with a YouTube video. My wife and I love that it swivels to put our toddler in or out. My only regret is not buying it when our daughter was an infant.

So good I bought it 3 times.
I’ve bought three of these I love them so much - so we can have them in different family member's cars. I think that explains just how much I love this product!!! I like that it spins both ways so when it’s cold or rainy I can get my daughter out on the back seat swiveling towards the center without getting her cold before I bundle her up. I love the cup holder and it looks so comfy!! It fit great in a Ford Bronco, Ford Expedition, and a Ford F-350. We love it!!

Invest your money it’s WORTH IT!
I wanted a SAFE, smooth turning, comfortable car seat that could grow with my daughter and that’s exactly what this car seat is! I didn’t realize how much I was going to love it until we installed it and I don’t think we will ever buy another car seat that isn’t this one! I was skeptical on how safe it was actually going to be since it is a rotating car seat but the rapid lock gets the seat belt very tight; I felt confident that my daughter was okay after the car accident we were in the other day and she was, THANK YOU BABYJOGGER! One thing to note though is that I couldn’t rotate the car seat while it was installed behind my seats in my Toyota Corolla, it only had enough room to fully rotate while in the middle seat so if that would bother you I would upsize cars the seat is worth it!

Best Universal Baby Gear Purchase
Across our family we own this, the Nuna Exec, and a Britax 3-1. This was the best one for multiple reasons. Easy to install and felt the most secure after installation - in both the front and back position there’s a clamp (needs some force to close) that closes against the seatbelt essentially locking the seat in place. The other two car seats just had the seatbelt run through openings - they are noticeably looser and feel like they weren’t installed properly compared to the baby jogger. Easy to get in and out for cleaning or for a rental car. The turn works great in back facing - the seat pops out an extra couple of inches and makes loading the kid in and out easy. The knock that the seat doesn’t turn in the forward position is ridiculously dumb because once in forward position you’ll have plenty of room to get your kid in and at a certain point your kid can get in and out of the seat themselves. Only caveat is that I bought this 2.5 years ago, so this isn’t some I used it for two weeks type of a review, but when I purchased this it cost $349, I think on sale from about $425 at the time. I now see it’s $650. The Britax was $185, again on sale from Target where I think it would have otherwise been $275. The Nuna Exec is oddly the same price, maybe lower, than it was 2.5 years ago. Not as a good a value but I still think it’s worth the upgrade from the Britax. With a lot of baby gear it’s tough to read through the promotions, click bait, affiliate adds, etc. and figure out what is best for you and your situation. I think this is the one universal piece of baby equipment that everyone should get.

Love it overall.
We just got our second car seat. We love the turn feature and the high weight max. We haven’t experienced forward facing yet but I think we will miss the turn feature. I like the easy belt path so you don’t have to dig for the strap under the seat to loop through. We decided to get a second one for our second child because of the higher weight max and want to rear face as long as possible.

No Rotation in Forward Position
Does not rotate in forward facing position. Very difficult to install in rear facing position. Would appreciate if manufacturer made it obvious that rotating ability is ONLY possible when car seat is in rear facing position. The car seat is also excessively large!

I really love this seat! Looks so good and the turning mechanism works great. My favorite part is it can be turned towards inside with the door being closed. When the weather is bad or cold, I would carry my baby into the backseat first and take my time putting the baby in the car seat so I don’t have to stand in the rain or cold to get her buckled and the baby won’t be cold too. Only con is that there’s no place for the buckles to stay put while putting the child in the seat, so I always need to dig it out from under the baby to buckle.

4.5 stars!! I agonized over what car seat to purchase. We have been using the doona, but knew we would want to switch our daughter out of it before her first birthday because it’s pretty heavy. After hearing about a different rotating car seat being under investigation, I realized not all car seats are created equal in terms of safety. I compared Graco, Evenflow, Cybex, and Chico in addition to BabyJogger. I utilized both ConsumerReport and BabyGearLab. That’s all it took for me to realized how safe the BabyJogger City Turn is! Both organizations noted how well it performed in their independent, rigorous crash tests, especially against other rotating car seats. I was pretty much sold on BabyJogger but was a little hesitant to purchase because of the price. We were waiting for the holidays to end to purchase because this is such an expensive time of year. But then Black Friday happened!! The car seat went 30% off and I jumped at the opportunity to purchase it!! We had intended to switch our daughter at about 9 months old, but had plans to travel before then. We ended up transitioning her at 7 months and I am so glad. She is clearly more comfortable and honestly it just looks safer. The installation was simple enough and it. doesn’t. budge. My husband is particularly happy with how sturdy this seat is. He can’t stop talking about it, our whole family got a ‘car seat tour’ at Thanksgiving! Ultimately, it loses half a star for two reasons: 1. Like everyone else has said, the straps are super short. Like it’s kinda stupid how short they are. I imagine we’ll have to transition our daughter out of it at about 2 years old. Fortunately, we plan to use this for other kids so it’s not a huge deal. But I could see it being a problem for someone not planning to have anymore children. 2. While it is easy to take the fabric off the seat, it can only be spot cleaned. I understand why you can’t submerge the straps, but I wish the cushions could go in the washing machine. We had a blow out and clean up was rough. Alas, first world problems!

Poor quality
What a waste of money. While this seat seems very comfortably, the quality is poor. This seat should last until t your child is 65 lbs but parts of the seat have broken after only 2 years. The warranty is only 1 year. There are far more superior turning seats on the market than this one and this one is one of the priciest. Biggest regret in my opinion.

Straps are WAY TOO SHORT can't use past age 2.
As an infant seat, as most people are saying, the swivel is the best feature. Love not hurting my back taking baby in and out and nor twisting babies back either. However, besides that, forget it. Like most people say once your baby reaches 1 there is no leg room. Like many people are saying as well once about 2yrs, straps are just not working. you just can't use it. The straps are no where near long enough. I've had 4 kids and this carseat has been the only brand that doesn't have long straps. Ridiculous. Not worth the price. Too bad too. If it weren't for the short straps, it would have been a great seat.

Straps not long enough
I was excited to get this car seat on prime day but either I was received an item with manufacturing problems or the car seat was no good. My son is built relatively lanky so it was time to transition him out of his infant carseat. Being at 33in and 25lbs, the straps seemed to not pull out as much to fit his dimensions, I could say his Nuna lips lite had more length when pulling the straps out. I don’t know how the manufacturer expects babies of other sizes to fit as he is pretty skinny already.
