good quality dishes for a great price

These dishes were excellent quality for a very affordable price. Unfortunately the shade of gray was too light, so didn't work out. The photo shows a deeper shade of taupe/gray than the actual dishes.

Overall, the quality and price of these dishes is incredible! The dinner plates are a tiny bit heavier than I was hoping, but the salad plates and bowls are just perfect. The creamy teal color is soft, warm, and provides just the right pop of color. I would buy these again in a heartbeat!

Glaze scuffs easily

Glaze scuffs easily. Nice weight and looks great... initially. 1 month of normal daily use with a household of two adults, and the glaze is scuffing up considerably from the silverware. Very disappointed.

Just the Dishes We Were Looking For

While these dishes are heavy, they became our favorites anyway. The matte color and perfect sizes meant they were always in the dishwasher. So we bought another set.

Love my white stoneware

Recently I moved and downsized a collection for every season of china. So I searched for something that would work for every season since I am getting older, when I came accross the Gibson Stoneware and decided on the white so I could dress it up or down with linens, centerpieces, etc and it works beautifully! I love this stoneware! It's so strong and easy to clean. Do yourself a favor and invest in Gibson Stoneware. I also bought a platter and serving bowl in the red color for my Christmas table!
