Love It
I bought these pillows for my husband and myself, and we are both delighted with the support we get from these pillows. From the first night we are both pain free. It supports my neck and head in a neutral position that gives me a pain free sleep. My husband has the same experience. This is a a great product.

Mixed, I appreciate your attempt to combine side sleepers and back sleepers. Unfortunately, as a life long side sleeper, the back sleeping portion interferes with the side sleeping portion. This affects the quality of sleep for side sleepers, your head rests on the edge of the pillow, not comfortable. I have tried it on several occasions and wind up going back to my cervical pillow which I have been getting from you for years. It is probably too late to return it but, I am not happy with it and am not using it.

This pillow has helped tremendously with the neck pain I’ve been experiencing related to my frozen shoulder. I can’t say enough good things about it and for the first time time in my life, I brought my own pillow when traveling on a plane! It helps so much that I now don’t want to spend a single night without it.

Still adjusting
Although I’m not a fan of this pillow, I have received some relief in my neck and shoulders. It’s challenging to sleep on especially when watching television. I’m trying to give it more time and will provide another update in a couple of weeks. If I have not adjusted by then I will return it.

This is my second time buying this pillow. I have many neck and back issues. Finding the perfect pillow is impossible I think. This pillow has been a huge help though! I have tried many different styles and filler and this one is the best so far.

Disappointed
I received my pillow, according to measurements I’m average (measured 6”) and it’s firm. The pillow came in a very small box, It’s been sitting for 3 days to expand to size and the measurements are different all around. Sides of pillow: Front is 5”, Back is 4”. Back of pillow: Right side is 4”, Left side is 3.5” Back of pillow: Center Head Cradle is 2” When I used it for back sleeping, there is intense pressure at the top and back of my head. For side sleeping: the front sinks down, arm goes numb, neck is not aligned. I’m disappointed as this pillow was highly recommended for my neck issues and expensive. I will be contacting customer service to rectify this as it appears this is a manufacturing defect.

Not bad but too darn hard
I have had the pillow a few months and it's just ok. if you are a back sleeper, it's probably pretty good but if you are a side sleeper it's just too hard. when I can get into a good position, I will wake up later and my ear is killing me. it is smashing my ear too much and the ridge often makes me roll onto my back. I can't send it back anymore, so I guess I'm stuck with it. if you like sleeping on your side with something close to concrete supporting your head this is the pillow for you. if you are person who moves a lot or likes comfort then go with something else.

Therapeutica pillow gives my neck the support it needs to relieve the tension I build during the day. This is my 3rd Therapeutica pillow and I tried the lite version this time. Love the softness and it still gives the support I need in any position.

best neck support I have found for a back sleeper
I am a back sleeper. I have used the original average size Therapeutica pillow over the years with great results, but recently the original "firm" one began to feel too firm. So I tried the lighter version and WOW - I slept so much better. The neck cradle provides support and the feeling of slight traction while you sleep. The lighter firmness seems to apply less pressure to the back of my head. The neck cradle on the petite size has a gentler slope. Since I only sleep on my back, I found this to be more comfortable than the average size - I wish my travel version had the same gentler slope and lighter firmness. It's not for everyone, and the trick will be finding the right size and firmness.

Science for Your Sleep
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Therapeutica Orth. Sleeping Pillow changed my sleep pattern, litterally, overnight. So many other pillows I researched had one or two features that were impotant, but they all fell short by trying to make it more "agreeable" to the eye--and therefore became a "gimick" product just trying to grab the sale. It is obvious to me that the engineers listened to the science...and that's why it looks like it does! The Therapeutica Orth Pillow has the features I (didn't know that) I needed! The KEY is not to raise the neck, but to raise the upper shoulders...so that the head can then fall back, cradled to stay put. The first night I found that I hardly tossed and turned, at least so little that I did not wake for hours. Also, the high sides means that when my cody DID want to rotate onto my side, the pillow was naturally in the correct, high-level, that I needed. So then I was on my side, again I slept soundly, with just the right posture. I'm 6-ft with broad shoulders (44 chest), but not "lumberjack-sized", and the Large was best for me. The pillow is adaptable if you want to experiment and remove or add material to customize it for ourself. For me, I was able to reduce material where my noggin rests, which made my head tilt back a bit more and... drum-roll... finally found the position that keeps me from snoring. Good night for now.
