A: Please kindly be noted that the horizontal partition is not removable. Or you could just do not assemble the horizontal partition during assembly.

Lots of pieces to assemble but each piece was well labeled and instructions were straightforward. My biggest complaint is that the cabinet smelled awful, especially the inside after keeping the doors closed for a few hours or days. Tried airing it out for 2 wks and eventually had to give it away because it smelled so strong. The label says it is compliant for CA’s strict formaldehyde levels but I find that hard to believe because the chemical odors it produced smelled terribly strong to me. If you are not chemically sensitive, it may not bother you.
