Q: I read in the description that the colors are ivory and black. Can you tell me any of the other colors that are used in this curtain?

submitted by Madison - 2 years ago

  • A: It appears to have a rust color and the black they describe could actually be taken as dark charcoal grey or even a dark olive green. Need Target to help match other items to this.

submitted bySydney - 9 months ago

  • A: It is definitely grey not black, cream & a light warm brown. Very pretty and neutral. But it's not black at all.

  • A: Hi Madison - Thank you for your interest in the Woven Modern Plaid Shower Curtain. It has a Black plaid pattern woven on an ivory background. Happy shopping! - Emma

Q: Any luck washing this shower curtain without shrinking it?

submitted by Kate - 2 years ago

  • A: I had this same problem. I even bought a second one and air dried it had the same problem.

    submitted byMorgan B - 5 months ago

  • A: Hi Kate - The shower curtain is made from 100% cotton. 100% cotton clothes can shrink in the dryer due to the combination of heat and moisture removal, which causes the fibers to contract. If you are having issues with the curtain post purchase; we would request you to get in touch with over guest services over phone or chat and they can check on all possible options for you. We appreciate your understanding. - Kris

Q: is it water proof / resistant? should I buy a plastic layer to use with it? thanks .

submitted by Annie - 4 years ago

  • A: I’m not sure, I’m wondering this myself also! If it doesn’t indicate it, I think it’s just for looks. I think there must be a plastic liner used.

    Shrinks after washing

As other customers have shared, it shrank several inches after washing/drying according to the care instructions. It’s a pretty shower curtain, just disappointing in terms of durability after washing. Currently shopping around for a higher quality replacement.

    Air dry only

Care instructions say to dry in the dryer but it caused it to shrink. I dried it on low just like the instructions state.

    Alot of shrinkage

This is a great neutral shower curtain that could elevate any bathroom. I wish I could rate this 5 stars but it smelled weird out of the package (like chemicals) so I figured I’d follow the washing instructions. Since this is 100% cotton and I KNEW it was going to shrink. Which I was fine with cause it was about an inch too long for my liking anyways. Well it shrank quite a bit, about 4 inches of length. So I would recommend drying for only a short amount of time and/ or air dry only. Glad I didn’t pay full price for it. (My shower rod is hung at the appropriate height)

    Love the colors!

It’s beautiful! The colors look great and matches our green walls really well! The dark stripes are definitely dark gray and not black for anyone wondering! The brown in the curtain matched great with Casaluna textured bath mat in the warm brown color!

Non-standard number of holes at the top

Love this shower curtain but it has 13 slots for hooks when the standard pack of hooks has 12, so bizarre! I just folded it over at the end.

    13 holes!

Only giving 1 stars because it has 13 holes! Hangers come in sets of 12 and liners have 12 holes. Very frustrating and may be a quality defect.
