[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mattress pad was placed on a new mattress that we failed to purchase the cooling effect when purchasing. This topper is great for a new mattress or one that has been in use for a period of time. It accomplished just what we had hoped for. It kept us from flipping over and over looking for that cool spot in the bed. This topper makes for a good night sleep.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my pillow and unboxed it immediately to let it air out. I slept with it that night without any extra stuffing and it was amazing. As someone who sleeps very hot, the cooling feature of the pillow was a bonus!! It's still fluffy like I just got it yesterday and the extra stuffing it came with is put up just in case it does, but I suspect I won't ever use them. I highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The California Design Den Plush Pillow Top Mattress Topper came rolled up in an air compressed bag in a pretty, light green box. I didn't find any instructions on or in the box so I placed the topper on the mattress and allowed it to expand for 24 hours as that is what I've done with past toppers. This topper had NO chemical odor at all like some do. It didn't fluff up as much as I expected. I don't think it has enough stuffing in it to really call it plush. I'm hoping maybe after I wash and dry it the first time it might fluff up a little more. My teen daughter is using it on her bed and says it makes her bed softer and a little cozier. It doesn't make her too hot or cold. I personally wouldn't purchase it if you're looking for a thick and plush mattress topper. If you just want to add a little softness to the bed, then this will work. The full size topper fit the mattress well and was easy to put on the bed. It has elastic around the edges that allow it to be used on a regular as well as a thick mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received a white king-size duvet to try out and see what we thought. Here are my unbias thoughts on the duvet and shams. They were a nice crisp white- no hint of yellow to them. That was a nice change from all the grey options so prevalent in bedding these days. The only real negative I had to say about this set is that I wish it provided a bit more warmth. In the past I have slept on/with cotton waffle duvet covers and it seemed as if they beefed up the warmth of the duvet insert by just a tad. Now this may be a positive for some, but I was expecting a nice warm waffle-y embrace from this set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great mattress pad. We have used it for five nights so far, and loved it the minute we laid down on it. This mattress pad adds a decent amount of firmness and made all the difference to make my mattress feel so luxurious. Outstanding quality from the top to the elastic edges. It really does stay put and it's not slippery to lay on and not too puffy as well. Just has the right amount of loft, but not so much that you sink in. Made very well, and I love the convenience of being able to zip off the quilted top to wash it. The pad itself seems high quality and washed up like a dream. Definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am extremely impressed with my new California Design Den 100% Organic Cotton Sheets Set. I was skeptical at first because this is my first time using organic sheets, however these are great! They are so smooth and soft and also cooling. They are very comfortable as well. I love the fact they have deep pockets so they do not come off my mattress. I have yet to have to put them back on from sliding off. They are amazing. There is also an anti skid elastic band around the base to keep them from moving as well and small tags to show you what direction the sheet should be on your bed. These are by far the best sheets I have used so far and I am completely impressed. I will definitely be purchasing more of these and I definitely recommend trying them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say, I have gotten used to quilts and duvets that aren't the best of quality. Let's face it, you don't usually get to sample the fabric of your new quilt until after you purchase it. So, I was thinking the quality would be along the same lines. When I opened the box, the first thing I noticed was the tag said, "Handmade in India." I got SOOOO excited!!! I know handmade is a luxury item these days. And to be handmade in India tells me right away this is going to have beautiful artisans as the makers. India is known for their superior linens and other bedding items. When I opened the bag, the color was BEAUTIFUL. I seriously love the blue. It is the same color blue (Palladian Blue) i have in my bathroom. Blue invokes calm and peacefulness, which is perfect for a bedroom. Then the fabric. So soft. Quality and the perfect amount of batting for a bedroom quilt. Here is the amazing part. Well the most amazing, because it's all amazing with this quilt and sham set The DETAILS. I am so impressed with the details of both the quilt and the shams. It is a pattern that adds dimension and gives the set a very unique look. I can tell someone took a lot of time and put in a lot of effort to make this beautiful piece of art. Because that's what it is. I just love the set so much. I've washed and dried it twice now (see video) and it is softer with each wash. No wrinkles when dried like some fabrics. Color did not fade whatsoever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It arrived, a sample sent for my honest review. It took me a while to give it a review because when I unboxed it, it smelled horribly of chemicals! I removed the inner chamber, where you can add or remove the foam/fluff, according to the instructions. Then I washed the rest of the pillow, adding Downey scent beads to try and overcome the smell. (Also according to the instructions) I let the inner chamber 'air-out' for a couple of weeks. (The outer pillow did not smell any longer, so I tried it out without the inner removable chamber of foam/fluff.) Without the inside chamber, the pillow was a bit too flat for me to sleep comfortably. So, after airing it out a couple of weeks, I replaced it into the pillow again. Thinking it had undergone an extensive airing-out period, I slept with it, replacing the MyPillow with this one. While quite comfortable (with ALL the foam/fluff) I awoke with a terrible headache, and the chemical smell was back!! Had I actually purchased this pillow, instead of it being cost-free for my appraisal, I would have sent it back and looked for another brand to try! If you love big, fluffy pillows like me, you might love this one…. Just be prepared to either remove the fluffy foam or sleep with a pair of nose plugs. If the company can find a fix to the smell problem, I would likely try again. Until then, it's back to the stacked MyPillows for me.

I love the elastic that keeps them on tightly but even after being washed three times the sheets still smell like elastic. The sheets are very soft and comfortable, but I cannot get over the smell.

It is so comfortable and makes my bed feel so soft. I thought my mattress was comfortable before, but this mattress topper adds another layer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed about this pillow is that it comes with extra filling, so you can adjust it how you want it. I haven't used the extra filling, but I appreciate the option. Most pillows that I've tried need some time to break in, but this pillow was comfortable right out of the box! I've used it for a couple of weeks, and it is just as comfortable as the day it arrived. The only negative that I noticed is that there was a slight smell to the pillow initially, but that seems to have dissipated. It was only noticeable when I squished the pillow as I moved around during the night. This is a 3-chamber cool sleep pillow, so I assume it is meant to help you stay cooler while you sleep. I didn't really notice it being different than other pillows in that regard, but those who tend to be hot sleepers may notice it more. Overall, I really like this pillow and plan to buy more for the other beds in the house.
