It’s strange they clearly calibrated the temperature control so poorly that most of the handful of reviews have mentioned the problem, yet no one from the company replies or has done anything to fix the sutuation. There must be a software release or a tweak they could do, but as of now the only setting I find to be realistic is for toasting, that you scale by the color toast you want. Regular baking or air fryer is way off. It’s a decent little machine otherwise; I’ve learned to turn things down and keep an eye on it, as though I’m cooking with an oven that has no thermometer.

Over cooks so you need to turn temp down at least 50 degrees. Then it worked for 3 yrs and completely died. We didn’t even use it often as it was in a vacation home.

There are a lot of complaints from me about this , but since I don't have much room to write I will tell you the main one. It burns everything, and before you think it may be me, I've been cooking for over 30 yrs. I know my way around a kitchen and it's gadgets. This oven has a light, medium,or dark for toast, on light you will have burnt toast. I tried to air fry on temp. 325 F. Food is burnt outside and cold or raw inside. It may just be mine, but this toaster over air fryer just burns everything and does not cook or crisp. I have used it for 2 months thinking maybe I just have to adjust some things or get used to it, nope it just burns! I used it too long to return it , so I thought I will just use it for toast in the morning, I put it on toast and a little bit before the light toast setting because it burns every thing, I stepped to my other counter to start my coffee and I smell burn, I quickly go back to the toaster oven to see the bread on top burnt. I am really shocked by this because Cuisinart is a good name, but your toaster/ air fry oven is horrible.
